Hi! from 2 days I'm trying to run hylafax server and iaxmodem with Asterisk 1.8.5. I have 2 computers in the lan, one is the Asterisk PBX and the other is the server with hylafax and iaxmodem installed. Does anyone know of any obscur reference for detecting an incoming fax. I currently have AMP running and everything else is working great. Installed the spandsp patches and software... using the default AMP extensions.conf, I start sending a fax, I hear it pick up and transfer to voicemail after 20s. Fax is set for system... Hi all, I'm using txfax and rxfax to send and receive faxes. I find that txfax performs very well when sending to an old fax machine. However, when trying to send to a Mac (OS X) that accepts faxes, I get a "Trainability test failed" message on the * console (full console log below). I have an X100P clone hocked up to an analog line of my PRI.
