"--once" getting stuck
RHEL5.3, syslinux 3.75 I tested syslinux "--once" functionality on a vmware image and all was working as expected, then I tried it on a real system and it failed: it got "stuck", it had effect at every boot, I could see the cmdline was never deleted from extlinux.sys. The vmware image used during testing has a virtual IDE disk (/deb/hda), the real system has SATA-AHCI

Index of Character
Hi, I am a newbie to R and this may be too simple to ask. I am trying to find out a string function in R that returns the index of a character. For e.g. indexOf("Test1234", '4') would return 8. Is there a similar function in R. I tried searching the documentation and could find other useful string functions, but not the index function. Thanks in advance. Regards, Harsh

setDataLayout segfault
I get a segfault with this code when setting the data layout: int main(int argc, char** argv) { llvm::InitializeNativeTarget(); llvm::LLVMContext TheContext; unique_ptr<Module> Mod(new Module("A",TheContext)); llvm::EngineBuilder engineBuilder(std::move(Mod)); std::string mcjit_error; engineBuilder.setMCPU(llvm::sys::getHostCPUName());

setDataLayout segfault
Ok. I can make a copy of the unique_ptr before moving it into the builder's constructor and use the copy later on. It is confusing to require a unique_ptr. auth. username rewriting?
Hello, Now, I'm faced with a problem: I need to be able to login using the same username that I bind against using ldapsearch, and not the sAMAccountName given to me via winbind. ie. to login using one of my AD usernames right now, I issue: su - ADSDOMAIN+username1 but the binddn I use to search the ldap directory is, say, username2: ldapsearch -x -W -D"username2"

LLVM FunctionType cannot be returned as VectorType?
Dear all, I am using LLVM C++ API to generate some code. In particular, I am dealing with AVX2 SIMD API which uses __m256i. My function input types a set of vectors and return type is also a vector. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// arguments.push_back(VectorType::get(IntegerType::getIntNTy(TheContext, 64), 4));//int64*4 = __m256i

dbcheck reporting errors
Hi all, Our domain is running perfectly, but for the fun of it, I tried a samba-tool dbcheck, and (unexpected actually!) it returned many errors, on many users, like this: > ERROR: wrongly formatted userParameters on CN=username1,CN=Users,DC=samba,DC=company,DC=com, should not be psudo-UTF8 encoded > Not changing userParameters from UTF8 encoding on

[2.3.8] possible replication issue
I think there's a good chance that upgrading both will fix it. The bug already existed in old versions, it just wasn't normally triggered. Since v2.3.8 this situation is triggered on one dsync side, so the v2.3.9 fix needs to be on the other side. > On 5. LLVM FunctionType cannot be returned as VectorType?
Hi Stefan, Thank you very much for answering my question! I followed your suggestion but the function still cannot return the correct result. I also set target-feature attributes for my function. I am using LLVM 6.0. It only prints out some random large numbers but the correct answer is supposed to be all 0. Can you please help me figure out what's going on here? Any help will be greatly

[2.3.8] possible replication issue
Hi, some of our customers have discovered a replication issue after upgraded from 2.3.7.2 to 2.3.8. Running 2.3.8 several replication connections are hanging until defined timeout. So after some seconds there are $replication_max_conns hanging connections. Other replications are running fast and successful. Also running a doveadm sync tcp:... is working fine for all users. I can't see

LLVM FunctionType cannot be returned as VectorType?
Hi Joshua, Thanks for your great comment. I made up a ConstantVector in IR. Then I successfully use AVX intrinsics to retrieve the returned vector data. The remaining thing is that how to pass the vectors to LLVM function using intrinsics. Do you have any suggestions? Please forgive me if the question is too naive. I pasted below two IR I used. The first one works. The second one doesn't.

[LLVMdev] [proposal] Extensible IR metadata
I've got a suggestion for a refinement: Right now, we have classes like DILocation that wrap an MDNode* to provide more convenient access to it. It would be more convenient for users if instead of MDNode *DbgInfo = Inst->getMD(MDKind::DbgTag); Inst2->setMD(MDKind::DbgTag, DbgInfo); they could write: DILocation DbgInfo = Inst->getMD<DILocation>();

running a ruby expression stored in a database
Is this even possible? I''ve got a ruby expression stored in a database, it''s the code to run a plugin since I was having trouble passing variables stored in the database. When I try to call the code, it either outputs it as text, or doesn''t display it at all. It''s supposed to generate an image and display it. right now the code is stored in the database as:

Kaleidoscope tutorial: comments, corrections and Windows support
Hi, I'm currently working my way through the tutorial with LLVM 3.9.1 on Windows (finished chapter 4) and stumbled over a few things which could be improved: - "LLVMContext" does not exist as a variable -> "TheContext" - Chapter 3: 5 times - Chapter 4: 1 time - Chapter 5: 4 times - Chapter 6: 2 times - Chapter 7: 2 times 3.4. Function Code

Latency and Rsync Transfers
Hello, Working a few servers that are transferring data across country with a 75ms delay on a GIGE connection. We can tune the tcp buffers on linux to improve the connections using iperf. Does rsync use the tcp buffers of the OS or does it override these settings? Thanks, Neal -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
