I like the Plantronics CS55/HL10, it's a DECT Wireless boom headset with a lifter kit for the phone, works like a charm, great range. -Cory -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Jim Freeze Sent: Wednesday, October 25, 2006 2:31 PM To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion

OT: Wireless headset / phone combination
I've been asked for recommendations for a small call centre, an ethernet SIP deskphone with a wireless headset. Similar approach would be a mobile phone with bluetooth head set. Either I've not looked hard enough, or there isn't much on offer. Alec Davis -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

OT: High Quality Wireless Headset for Cisco IPPhones and *
Tom - here are a few suggestions Plantronics 510SL Bluetooth - they make a bundle that comes with a Bluetooth transceiver and a handset lifter. This is nice if you have users that already have Bluetooth headsets for their mobile phones, as it allows you to sync with their office phone as well. http://www.plantronics.com/north_america/en_US/products/cat29880043/cat2 9880054/prod5460016

WiFi Phones (was Looking for Wireless Heaset for Polycom 501)
Martin: I had seen your other post and sent you a message off-list, but I never got a response. What do you feel is the most lacking that does not make it ready for a production enviroment. - I've been using a SIP deskphone in my office and usually some sort of ATA at my house, both as the primary phone. I've also had mobile phones from almost every carrier. Each one of these devices

x-sendfile
I wrote an x-sendfile thing for the railshandler to get mongrel to catch the response header and stream out files from an application I''m writing but I''m pretty sure that zed said he''d built in x-sendfile somewhere already. I couldn''t find it, could someone lead me to it? Does mongrel work with SSL? If not is anyone interested in having someone write in SSL

Netinstall wants to use wlan0
Hi, Folks -- I'm setting up an Acer Aspire 5250 as a Christmas gift, CentOS 6 netinstall insists on trying to configure wlan0 but I'm using a wired DSL connection, consequently netinstall fails and only offers the option to Retry. How can I get it to bypass the wlan0 idea and go straight to eth0...? Thanks, -- -- Jeff -- <http://www.wellnow.com> "There's nothing

Plantronics and Snom RF feedback
Hey all, after hooking up some Plantronics to some Snom's (3 320's 1 360), I noticed my client is having some form of feed back on the phone. Because of Snom's "inner oddities" this is how I got it to work. Plantronic --> RJ11 --> SnomHandset Port (on Snom Base) Handset --> Plantronic jack (bottom base in the front) If I placed Plantronic(RJ11) --> Snom's

Asterisk and 802.11g
I'm greatly surprised when testing an Asterisk box with 802.11g. Here's the topology: VoIP caller --- 802.11g --- Asterisk --- 802.11g --- VoIP extension | FXO ___ PSTN extension When I call a VoIP extension on that box (from a VoIP extension), voice is good. But when this box tries to bridge the call with a

Problems with AWUS036H usb wirless nic under CentOS 6.2
Hi all, I have problems with a wireless usb adapter (AWUS036H) under CentOS 6.2 x86_64 machine. Sometimes, randomly, it loses wireless connection and never back. I need to do an ifdown and then an ifup, but sometimes works and sometimes not. If I am not wrong this adapter uses rtl8187 chip ... Somebody knows what can I do?? Under Windows 2008 R2 server works perfect ... Thanks. -- CL

Mutli-Homed Subnetting - Advice please
Hi All, I have a problem with a growing network. I inherited the network at about 200 machines and it's now reached 300 at which point the cracks are starting to show. I have no budget to speak of but need to up the bandwitdh so I'm looking at sticking an extra Gigabit NIC into my PDC and splitting the network into two subnets. I have two kinds of data, static and dynamic. Static files

nm-applet, wirless, and CentOS 6
I have a strange problem and I know I am doing things way outside of the box. First of all I don't like Gnome or really any of the mess-windows flavored desktop systems and no, I don't like the MacOSX flavored desktop systems (like Ubuntu's Unity) either. The 'desktop' system (if you could have called it that) that I learned on was DEC's 'DecWindows' system on
