Setting Sip Headers From Dial App?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 This might sound strange, but is there anyway for Asterisk to set extra sip headers based on a sip phone returning a 302 in a dialplan? Example: PSTN => Asterisk => SIP-Phone, SIP-Phone returns 302 Redirect, Asterisk sets X-Something: Some_Value & X-Somethingelse: Some_Other_Value, then sends the new invite with added headers. Some Clarification?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Hi All, I've been playing with Samba 4.0.x in the lab for about a week or so, and have figured out a reasonable portion of the required settings to also use the AD server as a Unix server. I do have some additional questions regarding scaling that I have not found the answers to. I'm hoping you good folks can steer me in the right

smbclient -b parameter
I've got problems getting files from a win2000 server using smbclient (see subject "SMBClient & Windows 2000"). I've tried using the -b parameter (documented in the online man pages) to change the buffersize in case that might be the problem but the smbclient I'm running doesn't recognise it. I've installed 2.0.7 on Compaq Tru64, smbclient declares itself as

Extending the storeconfigs database
I''m adding tables to the storeconfigs database, to support my storereports plugin, and would like some guidance on handling the schema version. First prize would see my database extensions applied as migrations. But then ActiveRecord would want to bump the schema version. Any ideas on how to handle this gracefully so that I don''t confuse the hell out of puppet itself, on

Problem with mput * on Tru64 ?
Samba 2.0.7 running on Compaq Tru64 UNIX V5.0A with latest tru64 patches. "mget *" works OK, "mput *" or something like "mput *.bat" fails with the error message "find: bad option -maxdepth". Several questions - Anyone else come across this one? Would dropping back to 2.0.6 fix the problem? Could it be an issue with 2.0.7 on Tru64 V5? Regards, Brian

Samba Upgrade (Downgrade?)
Hi everyone, Months ago when I I was looking into using Samba at the office, I made the mistake of using the 4.2 development branch instead of a stable release. I have no idea what was going through my mind. It's now months later and I would like to move our domain to the latest stable 4.1 release (and then move to new hardware). Is it possible to do this? Can it be as easy as building

Question on Deploying a Ferret DRb server
(Sorry if some people see this twice. I originally posted this question from ruby-forum.com, but didn''t realize that the Ferret forum was a mirror and that I actually wasn''t a member.) Anyway, I''ve read all the documentation I could find, and read most of this forum, but I''m a still a little confused on running a ferret DRb server. All the examples seem to be

ATTN Development TEAM - "invalid mid from server"
Hi, We are having a problem with smbclient running tar back to a FreeBSD system for Amanda. smbclient seems to be choking on large files. Of the many singularly uninformative error messages, the primary error* is "invalid mid from server" Searching all FAQ's and news groups shows this has been a problem for several users since 8/2000 with no published response from anyone except a

Repeated Measures/Linear Mixed Effects function
I have three columns of data, Xc, Trt and fish. This was a repeated measures design with 6 measurements taken from each of 5 fish. Xc is the actual measurement, Trt is the treatment, and fish is the fish number. Data can be seen below (hopefully it is in the column format). I would like to look for differences between treatments in a repeated measures format. I used the following code

Getting high precision values from qnorm in the tail
Hello All I am looking for high precision values for the normal distribution in the tail,(1e-10 and 1 - 1e-10) as the R package that I am using sets any number which is out of this range to these values and then calls the qnorm and qt function. What I have noticed is that the qnorm implementation in R is not symmetric when looking at the tails. This is quite surprising to me, as it is well known

Model caching for pseudo-constant globals
Hi folks, I have a number of models which do sometimes change, but which are mostly invariant. These include things like FeatureType, Feature, Country and SwearWord. They''re ActiveRecord subclasses, backed by the database, so that they''re easy for administrators to edit. Is there a sane way to implement model caching for these, such that I can do stuff like this in my

Win32 commandline discid utility?
I'm in the process of re-encoding lots of albums with rc3. This isn't too hard because my computer lab at school has 24 machines which I can all get ripping/encoding in parallel. Machines are Win95. I'm currently using EAC (www.exactaudiocopy.de) to do clean rips (unfortunately a GUI interface), a cygwin port of normalize (http://www.cs.columbia.edu/~cvaill/normalize/), oggenc,

SMBClient & Windows 2000
Samba 2.0.7 running on Compaq AlphaServer Tru64. Using smbclient to get files from a Windows 2000 Server. Nearly always we get a non-specific error code, sample below. When it does fail, it fails consistently. In the example below, whenever this particular get fails, it always fails at exactly the same point. The same is the case with other files and it doesn't seem to matter about the file

Gamatronic Smart Compact 750 with NUTs
I was told by someone who used to have a Gamatronic to use the Fenton driver. However, when I use the Fenton driver I receive the following error: Unknown ups - please report this ID string: #GAMATRONICS SC06GM0G V8.0 Detected Unknown C06GM0G on /dev/ttyS1 The person who pointed me at this driver mentioned that Gamatronic changed their banner and a patch or code change is needed. Samba BDC in a subnet of a Windows NT4.0 domain?
Hi, I've been playing with samba/the idea of Samba as a server for a remote location on our network. How we're setup right now is this: Windows NT 4.0 PDC/BDC/Member Server (hosting Exchange server). The PDC has file sharing for our projects directory and needs to be accessible by employees everywhere. the BDC has SQL server for accounting purposes and also needs to be accessible from

The weirdest yp directory listing problem
Hey all, I'm new to this list! I have a very strange problem that just started yesterday when I purchased some extra bandwidth from mediacast1.com. I was running my own icecast server for over a month, and I never had any problems. However, when I signed up with mediacast1, my yp directory listings are now translating all '.' characters into '-' characters! This means that
