PLAIN.B64 Password Scheme Patch Missing in Dovecot 1.0.2
Dear all,
Hi. This is imacat from Taiwan. I've just downloaded the
newly-released Dovecot 1.0.2, but found that the PLAIN.B64 password
scheme patch seems to be missing.
http://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2007-May/022610.html
Is there any reason for this? Thank you very much.

Win2K registry not loading correctly
Hi,
I've noticed that my Win2K registry just won't load correctly. In Win2K
regedit nothing shows up at all - not even home registry values - and in
Win98 regedit (running in my w2k configured wine) only few values show
up, I believe those are my home registry values. Here's the relevant
stuff from config, built with winesetup:

"Path" = "/mnt/winnt"

ssl patch
I made a quick patch to em so it will try to read the key/cert from a
file if it exists in the cwd, and if not use the hardcoded default.
If I added a function in rubymain.cpp to set the location of the pem
file, where in em would be the right place to set it? It should be in
the same scope as start_tls I would think. I''m checking for the pem
file in InitializeDefaultCredentials().

install a DOS application with wine
Hi
I have a relatively small executable (and also the source code) for an
experimental data logging application which was written to be used with
DOS in the middle ages of earth.
I tried to install it using wine.
Wine simply hangs after the second line - no return to prompt - see below:
user@Laptop:~$ wine '/home/user/Desktop/Pocket.exe'
Warning: unprotecting memory to allow real-mode

More Descriptive Logging Needed
(Everything herein refers to dovecot-1.0.1.)
I'm sorry to say that I've been having troubles with dovecot. While
attempting to troubleshoot them, I've found the existing logs to be lacking.
In particular, I've had a lot of difficulty with the client<->server
connection disconnecting, but the only message I get in the logs is
"Disconnected". After dissecting

Wireless newtworking in CentOS 5
Installed CentOS 5 on my Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop, hoping that it will
be easier to set up wireless networking than it was in CentOS 4.4. But
still sooooo difficult to get it working, mainly because there doesn't
appear to be a driver pre-installed for this wireless card ((Dell
wireless 1390 Mini PCI network card 802.11b/g). Do I still have to use
ipw2200 and what is this anyway? - I really

Bug: flac --replay-gain thinks that I used --no-padding
If I use flac to encode with the --replay-gain
option, I get a warning about the --no-padding
option...
"NOTE: --replay-gain may leave a small PADDING block even with --no-padding"
...even though I'm not using --no-padding. And the
file does end up with a small padding block, so
changing tags is slow.
I'd fixed this bug in my own copy of flac 1.1.4,
but forgot to submit the

bridging and peth0
Hi,
If one sets xend to use network-bridge and there are no bridges
already present then it seems that xend will clone eth0 to peth0,
create xenbr0 and add peth0 and vif0.0 as ports on that bridge.
If on the other hand xenbr0 is created in /etc/network/interfaces
then xend will not do any of that peth0 stuff, nor will it add
vif0.0 to xenbr0, yet (barring some changes in iptables rules)

Centos on a Flash drive and Micro drive
I am considering putting together a 'micro server' that I can easily
travel with. I am seriously considering the decTOP, as at $99 (plus the
cost of a 256MB SIMM) is amazingly priced.
But I want to run on batteries, so trash a real hard drive. I have a
couple of IDE to Compact flash adapters that support 2 flash cards. So
I was considering a 4Gb (or even 2Gb) cheap real fash card

FLAC: ERROR, MD5 signature mismatch
Hi
I have downloaded a FLAC file somewhere and when trying to decode it to WAV
it gives the error message: ERROR, MD5 signature mismatch
So my question is now: are FLAC files that give the error message above
still decodable to WAV (and how can you do this, because flac.exe doesn't
want to decode the file), even if there is a MD5 signature mismatch, or is
this not possible at all?
thx

Specing Layouts
Hi,
I''ve just started to try and spec my application.html.erb layout as one of
the view specs but it totally barfs.
I''m guessing that it''s due to the yield statements in the layout.
Any clues as to how to proceed?
Cheers
Daniel
