Why would asterisk presume a loop (482 "Loop Detected")?
We have a SNOM360 (ext 226) configured for redirection (away on
annual leave) to another SNOM360 (ext 225), being tested from a
SNOM320 (ext 227) which appears on the surface to be an easy adjustment.
Was receiving the following message,

Testers needed for VoIP router solution
Hi all,
We have put together a firmware for a range of inexpensive routers.
It has been configured to provide optimum VoIP performance.
We have internally tested it for number of months and it looks very good.
You should be able to run it easily with 20+ phones on local network ( we
still did not hit the upper limit ) assuming that you have bandwidth.
Your VoIP will get prioritized over other

Deadlock with ATA disk on FreeBSD 4.8 Stable
Hi Soeren,
We encounter here a deadlock with a quite new ATA 120GB disk.
The disk worked good for about 3 weeks, but now we have a strange
problem.
There seems to be one defective file on the disk. fsck doesn't find
it, and if I do a
cat file > /dev/null
The machine locks completly. Serial console is dead, no remote DDB
via ALTBREAK possible anymore, no panic message, just freezed.

MFC of reentrant realpath.c
Hi,
I've seen that this commit never got MFC'd:
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/lib/libc/stdlib/realpath.c?rev=1.14&content-type=text/x-cvsweb-markup
Would it be possible to do that or are there any objections
out there ?

Request for documenting IPSec, NAT/divert, ipfw, ipfilter ... in kernel flow ?
Hi,
sorry for cross-mailing. Reply-to: set to freebsd-net.
I have seen some discussion on freebsd-security etc. about some parts
of the subject. I have seen older messages in archives.
Regularly the same questions seem to come up.
I have not found an all-including description of the answer to s.th.
like:
"Can anybody tell me the order packets get processed in kernel related

Divert to arbitrary number.
Hi All,
I am looking for a way to allow users to
dial *21*, followed by a number and the pound
key. Asterisk must then divert all incoming calls
to the user's extension to the number given.
I got it right halfway using a tip from
http://ns1.jnetdns.de/jn/relaunch/asterisk/page6.html.
Thanks to whomever is the contributor of the above tip.
The problem is however, that the number to which

strange strsplit gsub problem 0 is this a bug or a string length limitation?
I was working with the rmetrics portfolioBacktesting function and dug into
the code to try to find why my formula with 113 items, i.e. A1 thru A113,
was being truncated and I only get 85 items, not 113.
Is it due to a string length limitation in R or is it a bug in the strsplit
or gsub functions, or in my string?
I'd very much appreciate any suggestions

Check if data frame column is numeric

I want to apply a function to each column of a data frame that is numeric.
Thus I tried to check it for each column first:

Detected digit 'f'
Hi,
Does anyone know what it means when I've got an incoming fax routed
through to iaxmodem+hylafax and then I see this in the asterisk log:
DEBUG[18902] chan_dahdi.c: Detected digit 'f'
This happens just after the initial fax negotiation has started and
seems to correspond with the sending fax machine giving up.
Googling hasn't helped me here :(

Cheers,
Kingsley.
