Europa Universalis 2 crash (Ubuntu 8.04 Wine 1.1.10)
According to the AppDB EU2 1.09 has a platinum rating, but it's constantly crashing on me. I installed the game from the CD, updated to the latest version (1.09), and the game launches just fine. When it gets into the menu I notice that it's running a lot slower than it should be. I can start a single player game and it still runs slow, and then crashes. It doesn't matter what I do in

Newbie: How to copy track from CD for MOH without getting "Junk at beginning of frame ..."
I was copying tracks from CD into mp3 files so that I could use it in Asterisk 1.4.21.2 MOH. (BTW, I have already secured proper license to play MOH to callers.) I used MS Media Player version 11 and rip it at 128kbps (smallest) but whenever I listen to MOH, I saw the following message on the Asterisk console. WARNING[20829]: mp3/interface.c:215 decodeMP3: Junk at the beginning of frame 49443303

Asterisk Segmentation Fault - layer3.c/mpg123
Hello, I recently switched from using mpg123 to using the built-in format_mp3 for MusicOnHold. After playing a song (which I adapted as perscribed to 8Khz/mono mp3 with lame) for about 30 seconds, I get static in the earpiece and then: Jan 11 08:59:08 WARNING[11039]: layer3.c:966 III_dequantize_sample: mpg123: Can't rewind stream by 10 bits! Audio problem.
Hi. I've noticed audio problems when using Wine on Sun's Solaris 10 UNIX system. When I go to run a program that uses audio, like a game, it seems not to be synchronized properly and skips some. What's up with that, anyway? I noticed some messages about not being able to find "SUNW,oss" and also this, if it has any relevancy: "fixme:mpeg3:mp3_horse Error occurred

Sound Issues - Pulseaudio is not installed
I'm using wine-1.1.3 and alsa-lib-1.0.17.r1 on Gentoo. Music from most games plays like a stuck record and eventually all sound dissapears. Pulseaudio nowhere to be seen. When I say most games, this hasn't happened with older games like Diablo II and Caesar III. Having said that, Diablo II did loose all sound and one point... It is a more common problem with more modern games though!
