As it's not work, I search docs on how to debug an app. My first try is to check that all dll requierd is present in wine (or I'll try to add them): I've profiling it on windows xp with

TMG -- MS Visual Foxpro errors
I'd like very much to be able to run "The Master Genealogist" under Wine. TMG is a MS Visual Foxpro application for genealogy database work. On my Kubuntu 6.10 system I have successfully downloaded and installed Wine 0.9.30, and then installed TMG ver. 6 including updates to 6.12, the current version. During TMG installation, there was a problem with a lack of

Wine identity for DCOM authentication
I have the following problem. First the native Windows XP-XP setting: I have a DCOM service on a remote XP workstation machine (The service is OPC server simulator, but this is not relevant for my problem). My (local) client application needs access to the DCOM service on the (remote) server, and following the documentation which came with the server and a lot of browsing, I managed to set it up

TOO MANY ERRORS
Ok, I've tried wine with about 10 different aplications and it always returns SOME kind of error... and it closes... the only one I can run without ANY problem is DiabloII.... not even half life runs on wine... Using wineX didn't solve any problem.. in fact I think it it even harder... Any idea why wine won't work with virtually no game at all??? thanks a lot -- Alan Bort Linux

Re: Run-time error '10'This array is fixed or temporarily locked
Hi, The error I was getting was a whole heap of OLE errors. The fix was the following (it was hidden behind the wayback machine's header): 6.12. My application won't run, and the log shows lots of OLE errors There's some chance that Wine's COM implementation has a bug or missing feature that's hurting your app. If so, you can sometimes work around this by using native
