Possible memory leak in smbd?
I noticed one of my smbd processes for one particular client (IUSR_JUNIPER)
is taking 200MB in memory, far different from all the other smbd processes.
Should I be concerned about a memory leak here? I don't think samba would
be caching any files, so I can't see why it'd use this much memory.
That windows client is a win2k IIS5 server, with well over 60 sites that are
hosted off a

[PATCH 2/2] COM32: lua - add dmi library
Hi again,
this is the second part of the patch extending lua. This time it adds
the dmi functions (com32/modules/dmi*) to lua:
dmi.supported(): returns true if DMI is supported
dmi.gettable(): returns array of key, value pairs containing system info
Sorry, but this patch does not apply cleanly if [PATCH 1/2] was applied
before. There's just one line to fix in com32/lua/src/linit.c

Re: Wine on OpenBSD
Greetings:
I'm an OBSD n00b and an ex-Fedora User.
Had my share of problems with Wine on OBSD myself.
I was able to build and install after obtaining the source using git; but there seems to be some other memory allocation problems. OBSD has version 0.9.9 in their directories, and the Openports.se has designated 1.1.21? as being on their tree; but I'd rather not regress to those

libvirt-bin MOSTLY fails to create default virtual network
I have observed 3 scenarios after I reboot the host with 2 guests (which are
supposed to autostart after boot/reboot of the host):
1. Default network is created but I can not ping guests. Gests don't have
assigned IP address or they both have IP address 192.168.122.100.
2. Default network is not created.
3. Default netork is properly created and everything works fine.
In each case guests are

Microsoft RTC Client SDK with Asterisk
I'm using the the Microsoft Real-Time Communications Client API SDK
using Visual Studio 6 and . NET 2003 SE to make SIP calls. Using the
examples provided I can make unregistered SIP calls fine, however I am
having trouble registering with Asterisk.
I have to produce an XML Profile to use when registering with a
registrar. The one I use is...

Slow connection performance with ssh2
Hi,
since I switched from SSH 1 to OpenSSH 2.9p2/2.9.9p2/3.0p1 Snapshot I suffer from
awfully slow connection performance. Once the connection is established, performance
is perfectly ok.

SuSE Linux Enterprise Server OpenSSH 5.1p1 nagle issue?
I have a system in place where it appears that TCP will make a massive
change in behavior mid-stream with existing SSH sessions. We noticed the
issue first with an application using an SSH forward. However, we were
able to rule that out by generating the same TCP characteristics by
having a perl script dump text out to a terminal simulating a large data
flow from the far end(ssh server) back

(PR#12742) Different result with different order of
FAQ 7.31 strikes again.
This is expected: you cannot do exact arithmetic on a binary computer if
some of the quantities involved are not binary fractions (e.g. 1.3)
See also the warning in ?`==`: identical() is equally inappropiate for
computed numerical quantities.

I don't fully understand the logic you are trying to implement, but
something along the lines of
