Hi all - This isn't really directly Asterisk related, but has anyone successfully set up a Polycom phone to register two lines on two different Asterisk boxes? I can get the first line to register, but the second one does not. I can still place calls from that second line, which indicates to me the server, user, and secret are correct. I'm running the newest 2.6 series firmware with the

now that I have finally figured out what I was doing wrong with my polycom phone and got it to read the configuration file Im changing some gains. I successfully changed the gain for the ringer... It was too low for me. Does anyone know which gain would be for the call waiting and which tone would be for the "hands free" mode? Thanks

X-Lite build 1079 consistently chokes no matter which codec I use - after five seconds I suddenly have no sound coming in and possibly no sound going out too. Putting the line I'm on on hold and then switching back to it gives me another five seconds of sound, then it dies, etc. The Grandstream 101 I'm using is a piece of junk but I don't have the same problem with it. I just got a Polycom soundpoint and I set it up using the phone and web based admin. I cant seem to figure out the config files and they are confusing me greatly and I dont have time for it :) Some things are odd, like on every reboot it seems the volume I set is reset? is there any way to fix that. Hi everyone, I have a user that needs a little extra volume on his Polycom IP 601 phone set for all calls (beyond what the volume control currently offers). Is there a provisioning setting for this anywhere? (I'd like to avoid a separate amplifier between the phone and handset if possible.) Alternatively, is there a way to have Asterisk 1.4.x boost the volume to a particular SIP device

How do I make my headset work. Before I try it with anything else, I'd like to make it work with arecord and aplay. VLC and movie player can make sounds with my external speakers. though not in my headset yet. I've got an insignia NS-PAH5101 headset. For some reason, it doesn't take these changes.

Hi All I have a snom 200 phone here which works perfectly when using the handset to playback the voicemail messages etc. However when I play back the voice using the speakerphone it sounds choppy. Anyone had this problem before? Regards Mark
