Call Queue NOT using RoundRobin ?!?
I have setup several Calling Queues, each setup with RoundRobin strategy. When I call the queue, the first member/agent phone rings. Great! I call it again, the second member/agent rings?? I thought that was the RRMemory strategy, but it seems RoundRobin is also doing it. Anyone know what I can do to my queues, in order to force each call down the ordering of my members list? --------------

Multiple announcements in a queue ??
Hi All! I've really been struggling trying to get around this. Instead of the same announcement being played over and over again, I want to be able to play more than 1 announcement in a queue. Does anyone have any brainstorming ideas on how I can try this? Once a caller is in a queue, I no longer have any control inside that queue. I can have that queue timeout, play a different

Dialplan Priorities and Sort Order...
Greetings! I'm hoping someone can help me with what should be the most basic of problems. Essentially, I want to have certain calls on an Asterisk 1.2.25 (Yes I know its old, upgrade, etc... its on my roadmap) install go out a couple of analog lines and all other calls go out a PRI. The analog lines are setup in Zaptel group 1 and the PRI channels are in Zaptel group 0. Here is my relevant

Newbie dialplan: dial 0 for outside line
I just managed to put in a TE410 card in an Asterisk box to work with OnRamp 20(E1 downunder). I am able to dial in but was not able to dial out. Can anyone offer me some advice please? In my extensions.conf, I just put in: [default] ... exten => 0,1,Dial(Zap/g1) and I get this on the console when I dialled 0. -- Executing [0 at default:1] Dial("SIP/5166-b76004f8",

Need some dialplan help
I'm hoping someone can give me a little dialplan assistance. Here is my scenario... I currently have an AT&T T1 connected to a Nortel Optn 11. I recently purchased a Rhino system with a Rhino dual T1 card. What I want to do is insert the Rhino box between the CO and the Nortel on the T1 so I can start migrating users over to the Asterisk system in the near future. But, in the meantime, I

simple dialplan trick I can't figure out (smdi, mwi substitute)
This is what I would like to do... exten =>7299,1,Voicemail(u8896) exten =>7299,2,Dial(zap/g1/#641299) exten =>7299,3,Hangup What I would expect to happen is... Incoming call is answered by voicemail... Voicemail app finishes and the next priority starts. This is where the problem lies... After the intial call is ended the process is ended and the voicemail notification string

Detecting a PRI failure from dialplan
Hi, I would like to know if there is a way to detect the status of a span prior of sendig a call across it from the dialplan. I was asked to set up an * server with 2 spans connected to the telco and use the second as failover for the first. I checked that dialing a failed span (for instance: cable disconnected or no line) results in "congestion" for ${DIALSTATUS}, but message is too

Dialplan Q: Dialing with Capi
Hello, I'm using asterisk 1.0.7. with a somewhat advanced setup with IAX and CAPI as channels. A call comes in via IAX2 and should be redirected to CAPI. So I wrote the following dialplan: [fromiax] exten => _8XXX,1,Answer exten => _8XXX,2,Dial(CAPI/265:B${EXTEN:1},,r) [fromcapi] exten => 265,1,Answer exten => 265,2,Dial(IAX2/PoC/11@from-lw) exten => 265-BUSY,1,Busy exten

extension to extension dialing
Sorry for all the newbie questions. I really appreciate everyone's help today. Okay I've got outgoing and incoming calls working with no echo. yay! Now I'm having an issue with SIP extension to extension calling. Any time I dial another extension it goes right into voice mail. My extensions.conf is pretty small and rough but, here's what I have right now. Most of it was taken

call from ISDN
Hello everybody, I have installed the Billion ISDN on a Debian machine. I proved to call with a ISDN telephone conected to ISDN Box and it is OK. So I connect the Billion ISDN to the ISDN Box and I call from a extension to outside. But it doesn't work, that is what I have in the CLI: *CLI> -- Executing Dial("SIP/101-f9eb", "ZAP/g1/943833473|45|tTwW") in new

keep the row indexes/names when do aggregate
Hi, R-users, If I have a data frame like this: >x<-data.frame(g=c("g1","g2","g1","g1","g2"),v=c(1,7,3,2,8)) g v 1 g1 1 2 g2 7 3 g1 3 4 g1 2 5 g2 8 It contains two groups, g1 and g2. Now for each group I want the max v: > aggregate(x$v,list(g=x$g),max) g x 1 g1 3 2 g2 8 Beautiful. But what if I want to keep the row index of (g1

how to output profile plots for groups using lattice package
Dear R users, I am trying to have an xyplot of a data set which has the following variables: case (n=10,20,30) parameter (parm=a,b) group (grp=g1,g2) y (y values) x (x=2,4,8) My plot should be parameter by case such that I have 2 rows (each row= each parameter) and 3 columns (each column=each case). My R-code is as follows but I am not able to get what I want to: tp1.sim <- xyplot(y~ x | case

Help with the plot function
Hi, Bert: Yes, I studied the functions you suggested, but I didn't get to adapt it to my example whose reproducible code I sent in my first email. Here it is the code of the functions I studies: ## par par(mfrow = c(2, 3)) par(cex = 0.6) par(mar = c(3, 3, 0, 0), oma = c(1, 1, 1, 1)) for (i in 1:6) { plot(1, 1, type = "n") mtext(letters[i], side = 3, line = -1, adj = 0.1, cex =

Collapsing a factor in R
I'm trying to collapse the following table along the sub-group factor. In this case, collapsing means taking the average ages within a subgroup and creating a new table. I seem to be running into trouble trying to create this new data frame. I can use the ave() function to find averages within a subgroup but how do I maintain the Group/Gender factors after collapsing? (see bottom table) Can

Help with the plot function
Dear all, I found the last example of this link ( https://sites.ualberta.ca/~lkgray/uploads/7/3/6/2/7362679/6c_-_line_plots_with_error_bars.pdf) very similar to the one I need to make for my paper, and I think I got what I wanted by applying some of the suggestions of this mail list. Here it is the code I devised (maybe there will be further improvements from the list): YEAR <- c(1996 ,

Help with the plot function
I'm trying to recreate a graph similar to the last one found on this link: https://sites.ualberta.ca/~lkgray/uploads/7/3/6/2/7362679/6c_-_line_plots_with_error_bars.pdf The difference is that I want budbreak on the top, and the temperatures at the bottom. I tried to set par before each graph and include lines, with no avail. Thanks, Bert. Andre On Mon, Jun 19, 2017 at 7:41 PM, Bert Gunter
