TDM Card loses Dialtone and Battery
Hello all, I've posted on this problem before. Well here goes again. I have an intel mobo with a p4 2.4ghz proc, 1GB Ram. It has built-in ethernet and vga and 6 pci slots. I dreamed of making this my household communications server: internet router, firewall, vpn and asterisk. Everything works except the TDM fxs card. Well it works for a little while and it dies: no dialtone, no

tdm loosing interrupts and latency
Hi I have come across a problem, with my tdp410 and soekris board (basically pc on a chip amd geode cpu). I am using the box as a firewall/asterisk box. The problem occurs when I drop ppp and I get dead loop dectiotn going, I seem to lose interrupts and get lots of messages in syslog from wctdm24xx saying missed interrupt increasing latency its out lined here

Re: Booting error - Unable to specify channel 2:

The best thing to do IMHO is to try to find a way to manually assign IRQ in the BIOS. Also, and this is what I didn't see at first, some slots SHARE IRQ. Avoid this! If you are not using USB at all, turn it off in BIOS if possible. Tell the BIOS

Port problem
Hi All, I have an equipment loaded with 4 X100P (numbered 1-4)) and one T400P (numbered 5-8). Everything works fine except that I cannot use one of the FXS ports (number 5). If I configure zapata.conf to recognize it, the whole system voice quality suffers. I've tried already to switch PCI slots, with no results. Below is a snapshot of my /proc/interrupts, maybe this can shed some light on

Popping and Clicking on Local WAN with X-Lite
I'm running a base demo install of Asterisk with ztdummy loaded on a 2Ghz Celeron with 256MB Ram - It's running on Fedora Core 2 in Text Only mode. I can connect with no issues but I'm getting intermitent popping and clicking noises in the demo playback - I've tried a variety of different codecs all with the same effect. It's the local wan so I can't see how QOS

not sharing IRQ's
I'm not having any trouble with interrupts, but here's my /proc/interrupts on Fedora Core 2 on a hyper-threading CPU and using the SMP kernel (2.6.5-1.138). I don't think I need to worry about uhci_hcd, nothing is plugged into USB, but libata is the disk driver. How do I get libata and wctdm to use different interrupts? $ cat /proc/interrupts CPU0 CPU1 0:

some questions about atxfer usage
Hi all. I have enabled the attended transfer feature in features.conf. I'm using it and I want to resolve some questions, I hope someone can help me :) When I transfer a call to an extension: - The extension rings during 15 seconds and the call returns to the "transferer". Is there any possibility to recover the call before the timeout of 15 seconds expires? I mean, I would like

Number of Digium cards in one box...
I know, I know, check the archives but I can't find an answer since the new cards are well, NEW! I understand the whole issue of expandability and flexibility of using a T1 card and an Adtran 750. FXO or FXS, you mix and match. With the new card offerings from Digium I can easily put a 4CO by 8 Station system together. Barring the extra interrupts, extra CPU Cycles of extra interfaces, is

Possible solution to Zaptel panics
Heya Mark (and others), Here's an update on my adventures while trying to debug the Zaptel-related panics, as discussed on this list a while back. While debugging the problem, I completely swapped the machine for an entirely different model (Supermicro dual Xeon 2.4GHz with 2Gb of RAM), put the cards in, recompiled * + Zaptel and administered my stress-test. The machine stayed up in excess

Dual T400P, SMP, performance issues
Hi, We are trying to validate Asterisk as a media gateway PRI <-> SIP with two T400P (8 T1s) per box. The first experience with BOX1 (Compaq, 2.53 GHz, 1 Gb RAM) and just one T400P was encouraging - on the load test with 3 T1s worth of calls we had on average 75% idle CPU. Not so with BOX2 (Dell, single 2.6 GHz Xeon, 1 Gb RAM, 2 T400P) and BOX3 (Dell, dual 2.6 GHz Xeon, 2 Gb RAM, 2 T400P,

Bug in PCI Passthrough
Hello all I tried to enable PCI Passthrough in my Debian Squeeze installation. Unfortunately, it didnt work. The following bug showed up (excerpt from dmesg): [ 10.148612] uhci_hcd 0000:00:14.2: PCI INT D -> Link[LNKD] -> GSI 11 (level, low) -> IRQ 11 [ 4.678352] Failed to setup GSI :11, err_code:-22 [ 4.678480] dmfe 0000:00:0e.0: PCI INT A -> Link[LNKB] -> GSI 11 (level, low)

IRQ headaches
Excuse my ignorance here, but I am desperately trying to isolate the IRQ for my TE110P card (shown below as t1xxp) Ive gone into my bios and disabled all usb , parallel, serial and some other devices, those that I needed to keep, I have moved off of IRQ 10 and onto IRQ 5, but everytime I boot up, I get usb-uhci and ehci_hcd using IRQ 10 as well as my Digium card. Does anybody know what these are

Do I have to worry about interrupt sharing here?
Hello I am using a Junghanns QuadBRI ISDN card - the module name is qozap. If I like at my interrupt assignment, qozap is sharing interrupt 10 with libata and uhci_hcd. I think libata is the IDE hard drive module and uhci_hcd is a USB module. linux:~ # modprobe qozap linux:~ # cat /proc/interrupts CPU0 0: 12634579 XT-PIC timer 1: 10 XT-PIC i8042

R-alpha: Logarithmic scales
Here are another three problems with logarithmic scales: 1) segments() does not work with logarithmic scales. I suggest to change lines 962-973 in "plot.c": for (i = 0; i < n; i++) { if (FINITE(xt(x0[i%nx0])) && FINITE(yt(y0[i%ny0])) && FINITE(xt(x1[i%nx1])) && FINITE(yt(y1[i%ny1]))) { GP->col = INTEGER(col)[i % ncol];

Voice getting cutoff
Guys.. I just noticed that my grandstream handytone 286 ata are having problems with voice cutoffs... We can listen to the person on the zap channel (x100p cards) without problems but they sometimes listen to us with cutoffs.. like "He ...lo..... ow...r.. you" and it comes and goes.. this doesnt happen all the time but often enough. Any ideas what might be happening or what do I need

simulation
Dear R users, suppose we have a random walk such as: v_t+1 = v_t + e_t+1 where e_t is a normal IID noise pocess with mean = m and standard deviation = sd and v_t is the fundamental value of a stock. Now suppose I want a trading strategy to be: x_t+1 = c(v_t – p_t) where c is a costant. I know, from the paper where this equations come from (Farmer and Joshi, The price dynamics of common

regexpr with accents
Hello, I have build a syntax to find out if a given substring is included in a larger string that works like this: d1$V1[regexpr("some text = 9",d1$V2)>0] <- 9 and this works all right till "some text" contains standard ASCII set. However, it does not work when accents are included as the following: d1$V1[regexpr("some t?xt = 9",d1$V2)>0] <- 9 I have
