Quad PRI Problems
I have been getting quite a bit of PRI Resets using my Quad PRI Digium card. Prior to the resets I am getting similar notices to the following chan_zap.c:7482 pri_dchannel: PRI got event: HDLC Bad FCS (8) on Primary D-channel of span 3 Telco claims the PRI's are fine on their end and that it is my unit. Is this timing? (google somewhat leads to this) I am running 1.08 asterisk zaptel

Problems Connecting Two Asterisk Installs ViaISDN PRI Cards
Have you tried to load the driver with ec disable? Last time (long time ago) when I was working on a quad card, we weren't able to get ec to work with hardware ec on. ________________________________ From: asterisk-users-bounces at lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces at lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Brian Alexander Sent: Thursday, September 27, 2007 10:59 AM To: Asterisk Users

PRI Channel Question
Good Day All, I am experiencing some weirdness using the E&M channel and hope you can offer a little assistance with the problem I am having. 1) call comes into channel 25 (Second Span first channel of a Digium Quad PRI from SBC-PRI) 2) Call is sent to channel 1 (First Span first channel on the Digium Quad PRI connecting an ADTRAN via E&M Feature Group D) 3) Between rings one and two

Asterisk-Users Digest, Vol 22, Issue 1
Hey, Thanks for the input Andrew. I did all you suggested but noticed that when I did the loopback test, the output *was not* there as you mentioned ("I'm set to pri_net, but the other side thinks it is pri_net!"). In fact, the same message as before kept repeating every second or so: >> Unnumbered frame: >> SAPI: 00 C/R: 0 EA: 0 >> TEI: 000 EA: 1

Two zaptel T1 cards: no clock from one
List, I have a TE410P (T1 mode, all PRI) and a T100P (fxoks, for fxs channel bank). I cannot seem to get the T100P to send any clock to the channel bank. I prefer that it use the same clock source as the TE410P, but it doesn't matter if it's not in sync just as long as it's there. The TE410P is configured 3x pri_cpe, 1x pri_net. The three cpe go to XO Sonus switch, the net to

Interfacing T100P with Definity PBX
Hi, I have two t100p cards installed. One card connected to the PSTN, the other card is hooked to the Definity PBX with a T1 cross over cable. The card connected to the PSTN works fine. The problem is with the card hooked up to the PBX. The light behind the card is green, but when I dial from this card I get an error. Its says it could start the D-Channel. Could someone help me out with this

Sep 28 00:42:35 ERROR[5151] chan_zap.c: Unkn own signalling method 'pri_net'
Did you compile and install libpri *before* Asterisk? I had same problem (among others) b/c I didn't install in the correct order. Try the awesome asterisk_update.sh shell script. Are you trying to emulate CPE or NET? Try signalling=pri_cpe Check for whitespace behind the statement, zapata.conf seems bitchy about whitespace. hth -----Original Message----- From: Steve Totaro

Problems bringing up ZAP trunks via PRI
Hello, I'm fairly new to asterisk and Trixbox, I'm setting up a Trixbox based email to fax gateway. At this time, I have a ZAP PRI link between the eFax server and my VoIPSwitch. The ZAP channels are configured, the B and D channels are up, and I have green link lights on either end of my cabling, but when I dial the number I have assigned to my eFax server, the call never seems to route

Question about DID
Hello Group I have a Asterisk server running with 2 Digium T1 cards installed. 1 card connects to Telco via a PRI. The 2nd card is connected to a fax server via Digi DataFire RAS 24 PT1 Adapter (Digi0001). The idea is to have Asterisk route the calls based on DID or FAX tones. Everything is working great so far. The only problem is the Fax server does not see the DID. How can I tell if Asterisk

Native TDM Bridge
I have a two port TE205P Digium card. I have set everything up to create a native zap bridge between the two spans. Everything works perfectly except one thing. Our telco has a "password" that has to be entered as soon as a long distance call is made. So if I dial a long distance call from my meridian system, asterisk bridges the call between two channels, my telco picks up and gives

3rd T1 of quad card won't change signaling
Hello, I'm trying to set the 3rd span of a new digium quad card as a E&M T1 for Faxes to a Hylafax server. The 1st and 2nd spans are working as PRIs. TE412P (T1/E1+DSP) digium card cause server crash
Hi all I have a server that has two TE412P (T1/E1+DSP) cards installed. One of them configured as an E1 PRI connected to PSTN and another one configured as a T1 E&M connected to Avaya PBX. Each card only uses two ports, so there are 2 E1 lines and 2 T1 lines connecting to this server. The purpose of this server is as a TDM trunk gateway that gets call from E1/T1 and then forward to an IP-PBX
