Asterisk-OH323 no ringing
Hello,
I'm using Asterisk stable (1.0.3) with Asterisk-oh323 (0.6.5).
Everything is working fine, well, except that : when a call is made from
an h323 device (gnomemeeting for example), the caller does not hear any
ringing at all, he suddenly hears the person who answers the phone.
That can be quite disturbing for the users.
Any help would be very welcome. thank you.

oh323.conf problem
I have installed oh323 channel driver (finaly! :)). I head some problem starting * so I have put the smallest possible oh323.conf file to se what happens. When I don't put available codec's in oh323.conf (*1) Asterisk starts but he also disables h323 channel because there are no available codec's (*2).
When I put codec (*3) Asterisk doesn't start (*4).
What have I done wrong? I

Asterisk Process Stop After few hours
Hello to all,
I have a strange behavior of my asterisk box. I'm running asterisk with
asterisk-oh323 channel driver and everything works very well.
But after few hours, my asterisk stop running and I have to restart it
by typing "asterisk -vvvc". Most of the time I connect to my asterisk
with a remote host so I don't know exactly which error causes my box to

One-way audio in incoming calls with Asterisk + OpenGK + Innovaphone IP3000

I?ve been pulling my hair for a week now over a problem, and I really don?t
know where to look anymore. Here?s my setup:
There is an Innovaphone IP3000 VoIP gateway on the LAN (10.253.30.254). I
can use it to send and receive calls from physical phones attached to it.

Hello all,
This new version of asterisk-oh323 has some bug fixes
(in configuration file parsing), changes in configuration file
parameters (an attempt to make it more readable!) an some minor
improvements like in-band DTMF detection (based on code
posted by Klaus-Peter Junghanns on this list) and better
handling of RTP packets with multiple voice frames.

Voicemail with H.323?
Trying to configure voicemail with H.323 all I get is the following errors
when I call 123, 666, 665, 664 or 031. I'm a newbie at this so, I think it
might be a simple fix.

siemens pbx and asterisk
Hello all,
I'm new to asterisk. Our company wants to setup an asterisk server and will
eventually move to IP centric phones, but they don't want to just throw away
the old Siemens PBX, so during the process we want to integrate it with
asterisk. Is it possible? and how?

H.323 Audio problem UPDATE
Update on this problem:
I gave up on the "native" h.323 because, like others, I couldn't get audio
working. (yes, I tried disabling FastStart in ast_h323.cpp - no change)
So I went and got the OH323 code from www.inaccessnetworks.com. Glad to say
that everything seems to work so far. Not only does audio work, but even
the handshaking is now working in both OpenPhone and even

Problem with oh323 package for asterisk

I try to use oh323 package from inaccessnetworks for asterisk, but after
make and make install that package, I have this WARNING message hwen a try

chan_oh323.so: Segmentation Fault
Hi,
I'm trying to get H323 support using asterisk 0.4.0
Unfortunately the pwlib and openh323 versions
mentioned in the asterisk-oh323 readme file
are no more available, and I had to use newer
ones.
Now I installed all libraries, but got a
segemntion fault when starting asterisk while
reading the chan_oh323.conf file.

Asterisk locking up - 99.9% CPU
Hello
We are running Asterisk CVS 22/12/04 and pwlib/oh323 pandora version to work
with our call agent.
Unfortunately **VERY** frequently, asterisk stops responding and goes to 99.9%
CPU. There is no debug output or other information that indicates there is a
problem...
Rather than continually restarting, can anyone make suggestions as to how we
