I have some DID numbers that come into Asterisk via PRI, then connect to a Panasonic DBS PBX via PRI. Outbound calls from the PBX go out via PRI to Asterisk, then out to the Telco's PRI. The sync LEDs on my PBX show that it is synced to Asterisk via the PRI. I have users complaining about random hangups. Hi I am trying to build reliable fax solution with asterisk, iaxmodem and hylafax. I am attempting to do this on Compaq DL-360 with 2 pentium 3 1.2GHz (512 cache) and 2GB of RAM. My Dell 2800 Dual 64bit Proc. machine came in with hyperthreading enabled. (they call it virtual processor??) I have been intending for a month to disable it. I'm try Spandsp (opensource) and Attrafax (commercial) both on asterisk 1.4.23) but the results are disappointing. with spandsp many times the fax arrives cut. with Attrafax i have some problem. List, I just tried to swap out our 410 for a 411 and we started have problems with on of our T1's. Setup: Span 1 - Dedicated PRI for long distance. Span 2 - 12 channels fxs_gs outgoing local. 12 Channels em_w incoming DID's. I didn't have any problems with the PRI. The trouble was with the T1. We were unable to place any local calls, and all incoming DID's where garbled.
