Bluetooth (chan_btp): dialing external phone number through BTP/Zap when bluetooth device not present?
I sent the following message a few days ago, but never received a reply, so I thought I'd ask again.. Can anyone tell me how me to get asterisk to dial out a phone number using BTP when a bluetooth device is not detected? I can get BTP to dial to a SIP phone, but I can't get it to dial through a POTS phone line using the Zap interface.. I've tried putting the following under the

does anyone know anything about chan_btp or btpd?
I've tried posting a simple message twice, regarding using chan_btp to dial a phone number through a Zap interface, but I've received no answers, and I can't seem to figure out how to do what I want (which seems to be a pretty typical use of chan_btp - I mean, isn't it used to dial peoples' phone numbers when their bluetooth device is not present?). I was wondering if anyone

Bluetooth with *
Hi All Does anyone know if one could use bluetooth on a cell phone with *? Would be nice to have your cell as an office phone combo. I heard that there is a bluetooth module for *? If so this should be possible? Thanks Doug --- NOTICE - This message contains privileged and confidential information intended only for the use of the addressee named above. dracut ipv6 fixed ip
hi, we have successfully implemented at tang/clevis environment for automatically entering luks keys and booting hosts without operator intervention. Now we would like to use this as well on ipv6 networks, but I do not seem to get it to work. I have already posted this issue to the dracut devs github issue tracker ( https://github.com/dracutdevs/dracut/issues/554) but no response so far. Maybe

[PATCH] Bluetooth support.
This is just the first part -- it adds support for correctly reporting incoming connections when there's an external d?mon accepting the connections and invoking 'sshd -i' with them, like inetd does. In later patches I'll extend sshd to listen on a Bluetooth socket (and advertise the service in SDP) for itself, and extend the ssh client to make the connection directly. For now,

I installed: gnome-bluetooth.i386 0.7.0-10.2.el5 from the base repo It also installed (at least): gnome-bluetooth-libs.i386 0.7.0-10.2.el5 These show up in /var/log/yum.log interestingly they do not show up in /var/log/rpmpkgs My bluetooth mouse is now working. It was not before. But I do not see any bluetooth management stuff in gnome (http://live.gnome.org/BluetoothManager) What

Bluetooth headset in handsfree modewith SJPhoneor X-lite
Hi, You need to have completely replaced the Microsoft driver, because it doesn't support the headset or ctp Bluetooth profiles. This gave me fits! I followed the instructions at http://www.windowsdevcenter.com/pub/a/windows/2005/07/05/bluetooth.html and it works with both a Plantronics and a Motorola Headset, and I can answer calls with idefisk, eyebeam, x-lite, and kapanga. If you end

Hi, I have Lenovo laptop with an Intel wireless and Bluetooth adapter, running CentOS 6.9. The wireless works just fine, but I can't seem to get Bluetooth to work. RE: Bluetooth discussions (quick glance to some BT products)
There are somes products available claiming to connect a BT headset, a cell phone and a phone land line all together. I've found some : http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=2079 http://www.clipcomm.co.kr/ The clipcomm BS-A101 sample price is : $570. It's VoIP land phone that can make/receive a voice call using your CTP cell phone or BT-enabled headset. Maybe the best system

Limiting what devices can pair over Bluetooth?
I've managed to get a Wacom Intuos Pro 2 (PTH-660) tablet working over Bluetooth to a CentOS 7 install. Well, I didn't actually have to do much to get it working ... However, we don't normally enable Bluetooth for security reasons, so I need to be able to configure things so Bluetooth can _only_ be used to pair with Wacom tablets As I never used Bluetooth in anger before, I'm

Bluetooth headset in handsfree modewith SJPhoneorX-lite
I am able to pickup, hangup, and flash, using the buttons on the phone with all of the soft clients and both of the headsets I mentioned below. I don't believe I had to change anything on the client side, just had to get the ctp (cordless telephone profile) working in the bluetooth stack, which was a pita. I struggled with the same issue...I could use the headset, but that's not very handy

wine and bluetooth
Hi, I've got an application that relies on bluetooth and although the bluetooth can see the device I want to pair with linux doesn't offer any way of doing this but just says that it will try to pair once a service requests this.. the application is windows and I'm starting to suspect that the problem isn't in the bluetooth or linux but something in wine that isn't requesting
