Zap connection problem
Greetings all, I'm trying to connect to an AT&T teleconference, but the call is never marked as ANSWERED by asterisk and therefore won't bridge and continue. The only work-around I've come up with so far is to dial like this: Exten => 744,1,Dial(Zap/g1,,p) The "private" mode keeps the line open without trying to do a bridge, but requires the

Problems with chan-capi and Eicon Diva 4BRI
Hi! This weekend we had a problem with our Asterisk Box which ran flawlessly for nearly 4 weeks. The Asterisk server sits between the PSTN and a Siemens PBX and bridges 2 BRI lines. No calls, not incoming, not outgoing. The admin rebooted the Dell Box and then everything worked fine again. Now, I'm analyzing log files to find the cause. During the Asterisk outage the logfiles only show

arrays of lists in R ("cell arrays" in Matlab)
Dear all I would like to have some data in the form of a 2-dimensional array (matrix) of lists, so that I can easily find the desired list object by indexing the structure by rows and columns. In matlab there exists a data type called "cell array": a matrix of "cells", which are composite objects very similar to R lists. I know that in R you can create 1-dimensional

My colleague left our company, then I have to manage all our phones lines and asterisk: please, apologize me because I'm 'absolute beginner' about voip/asterisk!! Well... all seems work fine; we have some queues and some agents; the "music on hold" works fine when the agent press the hold button on the phone (thomson); the agents have the 'autoanwser' flag

call transfer to external phone number
Hi! Is it possible to transfer a call to an external phone instead of transferring the call to internal phone? (I'm sorry for my bad english, I hope you understand) When, during a call, I digit "#123", the call is transferred to internal extension "123", but if I digit "#external_phone_number", it tells me that it's impossible. Any idea? Thanks a lot!

Re: Has anyone tried using flash() in features.conf (applicationmap) - RESOLVED
Problem resolved. This makes it nice and simple to 'flash' an incoming POTS line (ZAP channel) as opposed to the dialplan scripts that I have seen that require tranferring the call, hanging up, and waiting for a call back. That was too confusing for my wife. Now all she has to do is pres *3 and it is done. No transfers. No hanging up. No dial back. extensions.conf [context] exten =>

I define a dynamic application mapping in features.conf as the following: testfeature => *9,caller,Playback,tt-monkeys I also set DYNAMIC_FEATURES => testfeature. The mapping is working well. But during a third person is calling I'm hearing just the call waiting tone and none of my

blindxfer & atxfer not working?
I'm wondering whether there's a problem with the blindxfer and atxfer commands. I was using Asterisk STABLE and pressing the # key to transfer calls worked fine, except of course when you called up FedEx and they asked "Enter the number of packages, followed by the Pound key". I found on the wiki (http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk+config+features.conf) that
