GSM/DECT handsets (was gsm picocells)
Now that I actually try and google for it, I can't find any dual mode GSM/DECT handsets, only pages telling me that they exist without any actual information!!! Does anyone know of any such handsets? (and even better, ones that are available in Australia) I've searched a few of the major gsm manufacturers (nokia, Panasonic, sonyericsson) but their web sites are absolutely pathetic to the

VoiceBlue GSM
Hello All * users. I have been looking for a way to allow GSM termination through Asterisk to occur. I am not a Telekom fundi and I have set up IAX2/IAX/SIP on asterisk with the ZAP channels via the Digium TDM 400P. I am unable to find any place that can tell me the cost of the VoiceBlue with a currency to I can calculate the cost of buying one. Alternativly - or just out of interist - I

What is the best way to loop over an ALTREP vector?
Hi devel team, I'm working on C/C++ level ALTREP compatibility for a package. The package previously used pointers to access the data of a SEXP, so it would not work for some ALTREP objects which do not have a pointer. I plan to rewrite the code and use functions like get_elt, get_region, and get_subset to access the values of a vector, so I have a few questions for ALTREP: 1. Since an

Hello all, I am trying to use native h323 built from asterisk 1.2.7. I configured the h323 to receive incoming calls...the problem is i can receive the call to my asterisk and it rings another extension but no audio. I don't see any good documentation about gatekeepers, fast start, etc with h323. I would like to get some help from you guys to fix this issue. If any of you have configured

[LLVMdev] Win32 COFF Support
I have updated my patch based on Chris'es feedback. I removed the dbgout_calls macro, but left others in place for now. If there are no objections, I would like to commit this tomorrow evening (~7PM GMT-7). I have compiled and tested it on MSVC, with Michaels testing code and it looks good. Once this is committed, Michaels patch can be applied. -Nathan -------------- next part --------------

What is the best way to loop over an ALTREP vector?
Sorry for post a lot of things, for the first part of code, I copied my C++ iter macro by mistake(and you can see an explicit type casting). Here is the macro definition from R_exts/Itermacros.h #define ITERATE_BY_REGION_PARTIAL(sx, px, idx, nb, etype, vtype, \ strt, nfull, expr) do { \ * const** etype *px = DATAPTR_OR_NULL(sx); *

Nested MySQL Commands
Is it possible to have nested MySQL queries in extensions.conf? Ie, perform a query, grab a value, and then jump to another location in the dialplan and do another query based on that original value. I'm having problems with the result and fetchid's and I'm not sure if it's even possible to do this or not. Thanks, Doug. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML

What is the best way to loop over an ALTREP vector?
Hi Bob, Thanks for sending around the link to that. It looks mostly right and looks like a useful onramp. There are a few things to watch out for though (I've cc'ed Romain so he's aware of these comments). @romain I hope you taake the following comments as they are intended, as help rather than attacks. The largest issue I see is that the contract for Get_region is that it *populates

Pinouts for T1/E1 crossover cable WAS "RE: what cable to connect a legacy PBX to a TE410P ?"
At Sangoma we do quite a lot of back-to back T1 and E1 connections. T1 is not a very fussy connection, as the baud rate is only about 750 kbps. In our experience, for error free communications you can use the following rules of thumb: Up to 50 ft: Flat patch cable Up to 500 ft: Ordinary twisted telephone cable Cat 5 may be overkill unless you are going hundreds of feet. help with annoying warning message: Asked to transmit frame type ulaw, while native formats is 0x2 (gsm) read/write = 0x2 (gsm)/0x2 (gsm)
Hi all, i have a little problem to understand this warning message, it's annoying and it cause a lot of spurious in the log files. Im working with this scenario: a sip outgoing trunk (Trunk-out) that support only ulaw and all calls are always routed to this. a list of sip UAs that potentially can use any codec apart g729/g723. I setup the asterisk to do as mediaproxy so directmedia=no and

GSM to GSM call with callerid passthrough
Hi All, I have a GSM to VoIP gateway (specifically yeaster TG400) which I am trying to use for kind of a call intercept between two GSM users. Call comes through one SIM and goes out through another Sim with our Asterisk in between to log the call. This works fine but we need the original callerid to pass-through through the outgoing SIM. I have tried every possible configuration on Asterisk that

Performance & capacity characteristics of R?
I hope this is merely a FAQ, and not an AFAQ (annoyingly....). I'm a SAS programmer, with several years' experience of the system, evaluating alternatives. See the SAS for Linux website (URL in sig) for more info. I'm exploring R's capabilities and limitations. I'd be very interested in having a deeper understanding of it capacity and performance limitations in dealing with
