"continuous" boxplot?
I have two vectors x and y, which I would like to plot against each other. I am also displaying other data in this plot. However, I have about 1 million points to plot, and just plotting them x againt y is not very informative. What I'd like to do is to do sort of a continuous box plot. My x values goes from -1 to 1 and my y values from 0 to 1, so I?d like to plot the median and quantiles,

produce hours greater than 23
Hy all, I wish to use the date function to draw againt the lifetime of a motor. This lifetime is given to me in Hours (it can go over 5000 hours) I'm unable to find how to convert this lifetime value to something like %H:%M:%S because when R see 24H it says 1 day, i don't want that, i just want %H:%M:%S with a value of %H higher than 24... for example: i've got this value in hours:

Local + virtual users using Dovecot 0.99.10.6 (from debian testing)
Hi, I have configured the MTA (exim4) to put the messages for my local users at /var/mail. If the user does not exist as true unix user, it looks at a postgresql database and if the user exists there, it delivers the message at /var/mail/virtual Example: User fred is a unix user, and peter is a virtual user. If i send a mail to fred at mydomain.org, the message is stored at /var/mail/fred (im

Hi, I'm trying to connect to a Samba Domain Member, but I always end up with the same strange error. The PDC (authenticating againt LDAP) and the server itself (Lobo) are Samba 3.0.2a-1 (Debian). I first tried to connect from my Windows client. It gave me the following error: "\\Lobo is not accessible. The specified network name is no longer available." When connecting via

[Fwd: Re: -- SOLVED -- "valid users" + ldap on Solaris 10 problems]
Hi All! We have just solved the problem. The error resides in the code placed in /samba-X.X.X/source/lib/util_getent.c between line 275 and 291 . By default, when you compile samba with solaris support, samba uses "getgrnam" function because of the "BROKEN_GETRNAM=1" in Makefile. This function is what's making samba going wrong. The soluction was to undefine
