OT - force Cisco phones to reboot
Hello to all
Does someone knows how to force the Cisco IP phones (7940 and 7960) to
reboot weekly or monthly?
I think this would be useful because sometimes we change the
configuration settings in the TFTP, but the phone just check the TFTP
when he restarts...
Thanks

Re: Problem converting a Cisco 7960 to SIP
Hello all,
I've got myself into a bizzare situation that I can't seem to get myself
out of... Was wondering if anyone had some advice that might get me 'over the
hill' on this...
Some background: PBX consists of an Asterisk box (running TrixBox), 4 Cisco
7960's, 2 Polycom IP500's, and now an additional Cisco 7960. The phones are
all on a separate LAN. There is

Polycom Stop Downloading Config
Does anybody know of a way to tell the Polycom phones to stop trying to
download their config? We have some setup for tftp and some for ftp and if
they cannot reach the server, they just keep rebooting over and over and
over and never stop. I would think it should try once or twice and stop,
but it doesn't.

SPA3102 - How to save config in a file
Hi,
I've read in this mailinglist archives some notes related to Linksys SPA3102
provisioning but I couldn't find there the answer I'm looking for.
Is it possible with this box (mine is unlocked) to store its config file(s)
in a TFTP server, and have this(these) file(s) reloaded at boot time, for
instance ?
In embedded web server, there is a Provisioning tab full of settings but

Does anyone have a working way of having a Cisco 7960 reload its config
remotely. I have tried some of the scripts that I have found on the web,
but to no avail. Thanks for the help.

Hi all.
Trying to setup H.323 via Asterisk between a PLANET H.323 box and
my SIP phones.
When calling from the SIP phones, it connects but quickly
disconnects citing the following error message:
