supermicro with asterisk and tdm cards
Guys. Anybody using supermicro mobos and chassis with TDM cards? I would like to know which models are you using (mobos and chassis and also CPUs) and how many TDM cards have you been able to put in without having IRQ issues like in other cases. Ive read supermicro servers play nice with asterisk but it is always good to ask I guess. Thx! AK

Performance problem on a linux bridge used for shaping.
Hello, Here is the situation. There is a machine with 3 intel gigabit card, 2 of them on PCI-X and in bridge, the 3rd is used only for management access. The machine is a dual Xeon 2.8GHz with HT. With 2.6.8 kernel from debian (testing) and htb with u32 on, i usually get about 30-40% software interrupts on CPU0 and CPU2, and without htb and u32, 10% less. Now, if I boot with 2.6.17.9 kernel,

TE411P Really Bad Echo
I just implemented a system using a TE411P hardware echo cancellation card. Per Digium, I setup zaptel.conf, and zapata.conf the same way as I always have. To my surprise calls out to the PSTN had a terrible echo. 1 - 2 second delay, and quite clear. The echo was so bad that I had to remove the hardware echo cancellation module from the card. We are only using the 1st span of this card right

SNAT based on MAC before routing
Hi gurus, I need a way to do SNAT based on source mac before routing. This is because hosts attached to my gateway can have duplicate IP addresses, and I have to distinguish over them. I tried to use the nat tool that comes with iproute2, but this force to make a mapping only address to address, and I wanted to do it by mark (I also use iptables to do that). For example, I tried to
