asterisk 1.2 with grandstream ht-496 2nd port registration issues

I have the following problem:
With asterisk 1.09 the grandstream's registers fine with both ports,
with version 1.2.1 (the newest port on freebsd) I get "Unauthorized" SIP
messages from the 2nd port. The ports are configured identically, the
only difference is the sip and rtp port. On the first port the sip port
is 5060 on the second 5062. The rtp on the first 5004 on the

Asterisk 1.2.17 and Cisco 7940/SIP: bug or what?

I'm stuck into an odd situation.
Here's what happens:
4 Thomson ST2030S
2 Cisco 7912
3 Cisco 7940
2 AAstra 480i
Asterisk 1.2.17
Diva 4BRI + chan_capi
I've just upgraded yesterday from Asterisk 1.2.13 to 1.2.17.
Until yesterday, everything was just fine with 1.2.13.
Immediately after the upgrade, *all* the 7940 are no more able to
make calls, just receive them, while 7912

LDAP problem, with samba and groups
Hi All
We have the following problem:
We configured samba with LDAP and this works fine. As soon as they try to login wit a user who is member of 15 groups, it takes very long to login with Windows and then an mostly an errormessage appears.
On win 2000 is the error: There has been made a change to the server. Contact you sysadmin

Cisco registration problem with 1.8.3.3
I am having a problem registering my cisco phones which is exactly like that
described in
http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2011-May/262306.html
except that I am on Asterisk 1.8.3.3 and using sip level POS3-07-4-00
The symptoms are:
o 7960 lines show [X]
o Outbound calls can be made from the phone, including call pickup of inbound
calls, but not to it.
o Trace shows REGISTER

fp is a data frame like this

Dovecot 1.2 beta1 in Solaris 10 for sparc, error reading maildir format?

I get an error like (in folders from squirrelmail):

melt stumbles over deleted columns
I have a data frame that is the result of a cast (reshape) operation. I
deleted the variable column and tried to melt the resulting data frame.
Depending on which method I use to delete the column I get different
error messages when melting:

Dear R-list,
Is there any way I can extract part or whole column name from two
variables and combine them? Not values, but column names.
For example,
I have data set with 70 variables. The column names are "Alfalfa",

Problem with "AT&T Maintenance" protocol in PRI connection, no B+D channels available

cross compiling (arm)
Hi.
I'm trying to cross compile dovecot.
My desktop machine is an AMD64 box with bells and whistles. The ARM
based machine is a network attached storage box. When I run "make"
always get x86_64 binaries.
My OS is Gentoo, so I have been able to build using emerge a variety of
other programs from source. What am I doing wrong here. (Gentoo
doesn't have Dovecot for the arm)

more on ailing printer system
I cranked the debug level to 10. Below is a transcript from the client log
file of a client trying to open a Properties dialog for the HP 4500
printer. I am puzzled as to why Samba would be looking for a user with the
name of a printer. Is this normal behavior? Anyway, about a minute after

Problem with deliver and quota userdb sql
I have quota with userdb sql override. When i overpass 100M deliver
reject the message. I have 200M in sql. Deliver don't query the database.
What happen in it?
