Re: Marco and Realtime Extension Problem [SOLVED]
Dear All, Sorry to be posting again. I have solved my problem. The problem is that when exiting from the macro, the priority number is still in effect. For example, priority 1 is at the start before entering macro after the macro the priorty will be 2. Since there isn't any other dialplan command, the switch statement would be search for a priority 2 in the Realtime extensions table. One

ooh323 Gatekeeper Bug
Dear All, It seems that there is a bug on the ooh323 while using registering with gatekeeper. The gatekeeper is GnuGK and the problem is when the Asterisk recieves a call from the Gatekeeper and routes it back out to an SIP Phone. The call would be connected and immediately dropped after 1-2 seconds connection time. This doesn't happen when ooh323 module isn't registered to a

Newbie - getting two local phones tocommunicate would be a good start :)
Hi John, Try adding username=5702 and username=5703 to each of the configs in sip.conf. I recall I had this problem with the Grandstreams. -----Original Message----- From: John Coll [mailto:john.coll@csoft.co.uk] Sent: Saturday, January 03, 2004 11:56 AM To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com Subject: RE: [Asterisk-Users] Newbie - getting two local phones tocommunicate would be a good start :)

asterisk with an external predictive dialer
Does anyone have any experience using asterisk with an external predicitve dialer, like MediaTel? Specifically: The predictive dialer dials out over T1 circuits. It connects to asterisk via amphenol cable from an fxs card in the dialer to asterisk with a tdm2406 fxo card. In the analog world, the dialer dials out through the t1 circuit, and the fxs card is plugged into a 66 block so the

canreinvite = yes with PAP2
Has anyone made this work? For me everything is fine until I switch canreinvite form no to yes. What happens is that asterisk hangs on "attempting native bridge" ... from what I understand "attempting native bridge" means that the RTP is routed through asterisk (just without any codec translation) But it shouldn't do that ... right? ... canreinvite is set to yes ...

Dialer software for Asterisk...
I have a customer with a more or less unique need. Right now we are using Wombat as a dialer software so they can contact clients for QA purposes. Everything is working very well and their contact center productivity is way up from the old manual dialing method. The only thing we are having a problem with is that they have up to 5 phone numbers to contact a single customer. Obviously

Never seen Problem !!!
One of my user is using asterisk 1.4 based Dialer i.e Vici 2.0. Today, when they downloaded , the CDR from the carrier site for 26th June 2010 , they see 50% calls are NEVER dialed by Dialer but it appears in CDR. Amazingly, all the call durations are of 29-30 secs. When we checked the status of the same in Dialer, lead is present there but its marked as NEW which means Dialer has ever dialed

Multiple line phones with different contexts
Hey all, Has anyone had any issues with phones having multiple lines that are in different contexts? We've got a couple phones that we're testing intercom functionality for, and I'm noticing that for some strange reason, no matter what line we use, the phones tend to be completely in one context or another, not segregated like I would expect. Our contexts look like this: context

Dialout to Meetme Fails?
I'm trying to use Asterisk (v1.2.11) make a callback that dials both legs of the call into a Meetme() room together, but I keep getting "conf-invalid" messages. I created a callfile (/var/spool/asterisk/outgoing/out.call) that specifies a Local channel (extension) which contains a Dial() command to the "dialer", and an extension which contains a Dial() command to the

asterisk gateway to other gateways
Though I've had implementations of Asterisk, I havent encountered this one yet, so i'd like to seek your advise if this possible. I would want asterisk to be stand between the dialer the destination. The dialer will now dial asterisk access number. Asterisk will acknowledge user by using CallerID and check against its database for authentication and then sends out a DTMF A tone for ?

Predictive Dialer, Web & Inbound Phone System
Currently I have a predictive dialer that is web-enabled, as well as a superdialer mechanism. I was wondering what kind of success people have had with their dialers (lessons learned, etc.) and how I need some direction on how to seamlessly integrate an inbound system with the predictive dialer. My thoughts are that inbound phone calls will be routed to a receptionist first, who will then
