Where have all the Gaim icons gone?
Has anyone noticed that in the latest gaim update (gaim-1.3.1-0.el4.3.i386.rpm) almost all the MSN smiley icons are not included in the package? I've reverted to gaim-1.3.1-0.el4.i386.rpm and they're all there. Is this a bug? and if not why would redhat remove the smiley icons from Gaim? -- Tim Edwards

Shorewall issues with GAIM
I am running Mandrake Linux 9.2 with Shorewall 1.4, and GAIM direct connect does not work, and it did before on my hardware router. Upon connection attempts, the program reports that the connection was attempted at 0.0.0.0:5190 for any user, and then promptly fails. The syslog does report that the packets were blocked. These are my stanzas in the rules file for shorewall configuration: DNAT

yum stalls <?>
I just installed a fresh 3.3 system (because those are the ISO's I had on hand). Upon running yum update, it starts to download headers and then stalls. I hit Ctl-C and it continues to download about 4-5 more headers and stalls. I hit Ctl-C again and it pulls a few more headers. Anyone seen this and/or know how to fix it? TIA Mike

httpd trademark issue -- here it is!
Hey, A "powered by RedHat" gif recently appeared on the bottom of the mirror monitor (mirmon) page: http://www.advanced-app.com.hk/caosity/ This appeared in place of the "powered by CentOS" gif that used to be there. The mirmon page is getting it from the icons directory under the default html directory. An Apache update in November put the new gif there in place of the

Re: CentOS 3.4 Single CD "Server" version
Hey, Lance mentioned yum group install. This yum group capability makes the "server" CD's more versatile than the name implies -- you only need a broadband connection to get any kind of CentOS install you want. Start with a minimal install off the CD, and then use the yum group install to conveniently get the same install you could get off the 3 CD set (only more up to date).

I just joined the list and am trying to look at the archives.
