Extensions.conf error - 'Maximum Include level(10) exceeded'
Oh Nooooooo! It looks as if there is a limit of 9 (not 10) maximum #include statments that you can have in extensions.conf. For example, the following extensions.conf causes the error to appear.. [user_3250071] #include "inc/wildwildwest/features.conf" #include "inc/wildwildwest/features.conf" #include "inc/wildwildwest/features.conf" #include

Current Open Source Billing Package
After spending a couple hours scanning for an open source (non- commercial) billing package yesterday I am underwhelmed. Almost all of the packages listed on the WIKI appear to be defunct, for several years now. I will be happy to get a login and edit them out if that is the proper method to do so. My requirements are very minimal and at this point unless I have missed something will

Polycom 601 Second Incoming Call
Hi List, I have a Polycom 601 that when the user is on the phone they only hear one beep and the CID of the second incoming call is not shown. Is there a way to have the CID show up for the second call ? And a way to configure the phone to beep more often if there is another call coming in. The problem is that if the receptionist is on the phone and looking up something on the PC she some times

Recommend Fax Hardware for T1 PRI
I have posted this to the Asterisk Forums, but got no response yet. Sorry if you are reading this for the second time. What fax hardware do I need for a T1? Ideally, I will switch my T1 to a digital PRI (not CAS I'm told, which is not as good) coming into the building. My CLEC said I can do this switch no problem. I have an analog T1 coming in now. >From the Asterisk box, I will connect

php includes lost
We have a windows network and the server is running mysql and php. If I access our web app via firefox from a windows box the app works fine. However, if I connect to it thru my laptop which is running Debian Etch and using samba I can access the web page but it doesn't function properly because the include statments in the php code aren't functioning properly. I have a feeling

ASR Suggestions for small dictionnary (<1000 entries) lookup in France/french
Hello, I'm in the early stages of designing an Emergency calling service IVR application. The IVR application asks simple one or two questions like "which is the postal code of the area you are currently calling from ?" "Is the correct ?". The expected values are a 5-digits number like "twenty-five-thousand-two-hundreds-twelve" or

Extensions.conf error - 'MaximumInclude level(10) exceeded'
I don't follow. Are you saying there's a limit of 10 contexts within extensions.conf? If, on the other hand, your saying that each context can only have 10 #include statements, I tried that too. See below. I put 12 #include's across two contexts, and still got the same error, I not sure that goto's are much of a solution, but I'll have to proof it. And that's my

date.to_s trimming
When I convert a datetime to a string, it prints out something like this Jan 20 12:00:00 EST 2006 I want to trim off the last twelve characters, i.e. :00 EST 2006 I tried to do it like so: @date = @meeting.date.to_s.chomp.chomp.chomp.chomp.chomp.chomp.chomp.chomp.chomp.chomp.chomp.chomp but the chomps seem to do nothing. I''d love to use regex, but I don''t know which

Receptionist phones
I've been playing with Asterisk for a few weeks and it's working great. I have a question about getting multi-line receptionist phones working. I was thinking about getting one of these expansion ports: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/phones/ps379/products_data_sheet0 9186a008008883d.html What are people using for receptionist phones that show all the extensions in

simulated data using empirical distribution
Hello all: I'm sure this is a trivial request, but I'm still a beginner at this, and haven't been able to find it. I need to create simulated data based on some empirical distributions of a single variable. I've found R functions to help me simulate data based on analytical distributions, or to make simulations based on correlation matrices, but nothing so simple as what I need.

RODBC & POSIX & Daylight Saving blues
Dear All, The recent improvement in RODBC to recognize datetimes in tables has exposed my ongoing confusion. All my data are obtained from a satellite system (Argos) which tags events in the GMT time zone. Daylight saving is ignored. To my way of thinking this means that 1. twelve-o-clock means halfway through the day regardless of season, and 2. the difftime of any two dates where

Problems with "predict" function
Hello, I am synthesising some sales data over a twelve month period, and then trying to use the "predict" function, firstly to generate a thirteenth month forecast with upper and lower 95% confidence limits. So far so good But what I then want to do is add the upper sales value at the 95th confidence limit to the vector of thirteen months and their respective sales to create a

setting rails environment for puppetmasterd
Hi all, I just stumbled over a huge rails.log in /var/log/puppet on the puppetmaster. It is full of DB statments which seems to point to the fact that puppetmaster''s rails environment is set to development. No problem, I thought, set the system''s RAILS_ENV to production make it available to the master daemon and restart it. Unfortunately, this does not work. I searched

non-parametric Anova and tukeyHSD
I have insect data from twelve sites and like most environmental data it is non-normal mostly. I would like to preform an anova and a means seperation like tukey's HSD in a nonparametric sense (on some sort of central tendency measure - median?). I am searching around at this time on the internet. Any suggestions, books, etc. would be greatly appreciated. -- Stephen Sefick Research

LLVM Backend for a platform with no (normal) stack
Thanks, no malloc or free equivalents either (no heap). So, there are no others (to your knowledge) who have built an LLVM backend for a platform with no “normal” stack? I found a presentation about some FPGA work (using LLVM) but it doesn’t seem to apply to my platform. Perhaps someone else on the mailing list will have come across this rarity? Thank you again for your time and

R-help Digest, Vol 91, Issue 21
All Is there a script in R equivalent to the "if then" transforms one can perform in Systat? For example, I want to create a "Treatment" column coded either 1 or 2 for twelve field sites in a large data set. Ideally, I'd be able to tell R to code sites a-f as 1 and sites g-l as 2. use of APPEND in default
Having fought my PXE config and eventually getting it to work (had to comment out the group { } statments ? I now come across another issue I cannot resolve and would appreciate some help. in my /tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default file I have cause to use the APPEND statement to pass options to the kernel being used. Unfortunately this line has now become longer than 255 characters and appears to be

na.action in model.tables and TukeyHSD
Hello everybody! I use R 1.6.2 in Windows, and have a problem controlling the na.action. In a dataset with twelve trials, one of the trials lack any readings of the variable "STS.SH" (standing power at harvest) Fitting an aov() object with the call: led1t7sts.aov <- aov(STS.SH ~ Trial/Block + Treatment + Treatment:Trial, data = led1t7, na.action=na.exclude) seems to work as it

Take the maximum of every 12 columns
Don't do this (sorry Thierry)! max() already does this -- see ?max > x <- data.frame(a =rnorm(10), b = rnorm(10)) > max(x) [1] 1.799644 > max(sapply(x,max)) [1] 1.799644 Cheers, Bert Bert Gunter "The trouble with having an open mind is that people keep coming along and sticking things into it." -- Opus (aka Berkeley Breathed in his "Bloom County" comic
