Alarmreceiver
Hi,
I just want to ask if anyone has some experience with Alarmreceiver application in * 1.2? Is this application reliable (according to wiki it isn't)?
I managed to communicate Asterisk (Alarmreceiver) with a burglar alarm, but it behaves very strange. Sometimes alarmreceiver is able to get some events but sometimes not.
Maybe there are some other non commercial applications which work under

Sipura SPA-3000 and PSTN dtmf
Greetings,
What is the recommended settings for using SPA-3000's FXO port for
dialing out to PSTN in regard of the DTMF?
The voip lan contains SPA-2100 and SPA-3000, with all fxs/fxo ports
registered to the Asterisk box with unique username/passwords.
The inbound PSTN DTMF works excellently, e.g. people calling from PSTN
into the * box are able to pick IVR items with DTMF reliably.

Brazillian Caller ID: almost there...
Hello,
Talking with Soren Sratje about Caller ID in Brazil, we compare ours
DTMF tones captured by ztmonitor. wcfxo correctly recognize the "DTMF
CLIP" and asterisk shot the AST_STATE_PRERING correctly.
But the DTMF tones are not reconized. In the chan_zap.c, the code:
if (f->frametype == AST_FRAME_DTMF) {
(...)
Does not occurs because the frametype is always reconized as voice

Alarmreciver
Hi,
Did anyone try to set up alarmreceiver application over IP network? Which
ATA can I use? I tried to set up it with Linksys PAP-2 but with no luck.
Maybe I did something wrong with alarmreceiver.conf (I tried diverse
settings, but nothing worked).
Sometimes alarmreceiver is able to get some events but sometimes not. I
think Linksys PAP-2 has a problem with recognizing digits in appropriate

modern technology, shorter durations could work. Most phones of all types
don't make a standardized tone burst but produce tones only while the button
is pressed. Fast "punching" will produce short tones.
On the other hand, a redialed number will be very well formatted.

Suggestions on how to debug strange DTMF problems
I'm hoping people can suggest some ideas for debugging a problem that I'm
having with DTMF.
Unlike most of the DTMF problems reported here, it has nothing to do with
Asterisk interpreting DTMF. My problem is with the synthesis of DTMF tones
on outbound calls on a PRI connected to a TE412P card.
I'm running * 1.4.10.1 with Zaptel 1.4.4. It is important to note that

DTMF duplicated when Waitexten
Hello,
I have a problem of DTMF duplication.
I receive call from my provider with SIP protocol. These calls pass
through an interactive voice menu, using the application Waitexten to
enter a client code. The menu works fine, but sometimes I have DTMF
duplication that prevent proper code entry. All DTMF come twice.

Can anyone shed some light on wht these calls were dropped?
Hi,
I need help finding why my system is dropping calls..
I enabled debugging on my box in the hope it would lead me to the answer
as to why my system is dropping calls but unfortunately nothing is
jumping out at me..
I have attached the portion of the messages file for two calls that were
dropped.. (numbers names and ip's have been changes to protect the innocent)

Double DTMF digits sent on IAX native bridge
Hi,
I have two asterisk servers one is connected to the PSTN and the other
one is connected to SIP users. The two servers connect with each other
using IAX. When I have an incoming call from PSTN to the asterisk
servers and have a forward to go back out to the PSTN the two IAX
channel bridge together. Now every time I dial a DTMF digit, the
asterisk is sending two DTMF digits. I enable

Asterisk featdmf signalling.
I've recently started PIC'ing some calls into a asterisk box across a
feature group D trunk from Verizon. Everything seems to work ok, except
for some reason Asterisk doesn't grab the full caller ID from Verizon. I
can see that they do send it, but Asterisk drops the first 2 numbers.
Looking at the debug log I see. I see that Verizon is sending the digits
and the asterisk debug seems

New user - problem getting dtmf tones through VOIP providers?
Just setting up Asterisk. I'd like to be able to dial
out through VOIP providers and have customers type in
a code in response to a prompt.
So far, I've been able to set things up to make the
call and play the prompt. However, my problem now is
the DTMF tones; they don't register when I call
get_data. When I make a call in person (from the DIAX
softphone, through a VOIP provider,

DISA - Zap/DTMF Problem
Hi guys,
I am trying to use DISA. The scenario is - I call my home number (where
X100P seats) from mobile phone, enter the password, enter international
number and get connected via voiptel. It works perfectly when I call
extension setup with DISA from X-PRO SIP phone, but when I dial into
Zap, It seems that it does not detect DTMF tones. Here is a log and
config files

Unusual DTMF behavior
We are having an issue where DTMF is not being sent out right away and the
tone duration is inconsistent. For a test we send a '5', then a second
later we send a '9', and then five seconds later we send a '5'. If you look
at the logs below you can see the first '5' is played right away, then the
'9' comes in and gets queued, but it doesn't start

Icecast - Buffer/Disconnect help
I am trying to find a solution to what seems to be the only problem I
have with icecast and that is very brief blips from the source feed to
the server that causes a disconnect.
Have tried everything from the connection end to the server to stabilize
things but my goal is if possible to find a way to not have listeners
dumped when this happens as most are just a brief second or two.

- RE: Missing digits on TDM400P incomplete dial string - DTMF problem? - Email found in subject
I am surprised you needed to turn the rxgain down so much, usually it is
just the opposite. I experienced the same problem you did when my txgain
was too low.
