process crashing issue
I have an hlds server on a CentOS 3.3 box with all the latest updates. it is a p-4 1.4 ghz with 384 megs of pc-800 and no less than 250 megs free at all times. Hlds has been crashing on me since the latest updates. I am thinking it is hlds acting a fool but i wanted to post here as well just to make sure. crahsing app
Can anyone tell me what is causing htis by chance? I know it is the application. What's weird is i "fixed' it last time by reformatting the machine to stabilize this one app. Now after a month it crashes again.... ntwork problem
I switched my file server's hard disks from a p-2 350 to a p-3 deley 1.1 ghz. I ran kudzu and it detected the new nic and unconfigured the old one. I may have messed up the static ip assignment because hte system is not able to do anything on the network. I just had to revert from the latest kernel back to .08 due to panics. i used rpm to remove the .10 kernel. However i know can't get the smp version of the .10 kernel to install via yum. I am curious about something. force 10 megabit full duplex
I figured out how to force 10 megabit full duplex on my ethernet interface. The trick is i need it to stick in case of a reboot so i don't have to reforce it. I am wondering if there are any plans to release a large dvd iso of the centos distribution? dvd burners are taking off and this would be a good addition.
