[Samba Version 3.0.20b-3.4-SUSE]: WinXP-Error writing to share
Hello mailing-list, this is my first post and i hope that you enjoy my very bad but sometimes funny english. My Problem is the following: First of all, my server-config: Samba Version 3.0.20b-3.4-SUSE on a SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 with Kernel 2.6.5-7.252-smp Now the problem is, that samba generally works fine, but it doesn't work to work with a special application directly on a

R-beta: Help: cov.mve in R? dgamma in Splus?
Hi all I have a couple of obscure questions for R/Splus experts (which unfortunately isn't me!) I am trying to compute Bayes Factors using some Splus code of Raftery in Gilks et al (1996). Only problem is 1) R doesn't seem to have a robust covariance (cov.mve) which I suspect I need rather than a non-robust classical estimate 2) Splus has cov.mve BUT dgamma in Splus doesn't have a

Loop-vectorizer prototype for the EPI Project based on the RISC-V Vector Extension (Scalable vectors)

Or in other words, in the vectoriser, who's producing the %mask and %evl that is consumed by the VP intrinsics? I'm not sure what would be the best way here. I think about the Loop Vectorizer. cacti on centos
Hi all, I'm trying to get Cacti installed on my CentOS 4.3 x86_64 box. I've got all of required packages installed, and created database file, and followed all the instructions in install manual. However, when I get login screen and use admin for username/password, it simply redirects me straight back to login screen. Looking at user_log table, the authentication was

LV: predication
Hi Roger, That's a good example, that shows most of the moving parts involved here. In a nutshell, the difference is, and what we would like to make explicit, is the vector trip versus the scalar loop trip count. In your IR example, the loads/stores are predicated on a mask that is calculated from a splat induction variable, which is compared with the vector trip count. Illustrated with your

Suggested way to remotely monitor servers and networks these days?
Hi folks, I'm just wondering what is the recommended way of monitoring servers and networks remotely. My current setup is to install and configure cacti and nagios. I've set these up to require SSL. This way, I can easily go to them and login from wherever I am and monitor (almost) everything I need to monitor. The problem is that leaving cacti open was the most stupid thing I've

LV: predication
Hi, I abandoned that approach and followed Eli's suggestion, see somewhere earlier in this thread, and emit an intrinsic that represents/calculates the active mask. I've just uploaded a new revision for D79100 that implements this. Cheers. ________________________________ From: Simon Moll <Simon.Moll at EMEA.NEC.COM> Sent: 18 May 2020 13:32 To: Sjoerd Meijer <Sjoerd.Meijer at

Python build dependency in LLVM and/or clang?
Hello llvm-devs, I'm currently starting to look at implementing compiler intrinsics for the Arm MVE vector instruction set. In a similar sort of style to the existing NEON intrinsics, this is going to involve describing the set of functions needed in Tablegen, and then processing that data into a header file and some bits and pieces to compile into clang (the list of builtins, data tables

problem in getting data through cacti from windows xp
hey friends, I am using cacti cacti-0.8.6-1.2 on Centos 4.0. I want to monitor my network through cacti, I have few windows and linux clients in my network. I have created a device or a host for Linux. I am able to get most of the information except Available Disk Space "Unix Available Disk Space". The client is Fedora Core 3 and the system on which cacti is running is Centos 4.0.

SNMP/management front-ends
Hi, I've been using TrippLite's PowerAlert software with my RM2200XL2U rack system and my APC BackUPS desktop systems. Unfortunately it doesn't work with openSUSE 10.2 (the software has problems with the serial port and UPS interfaces on openSUSE 10.2), so I've been looking at other options. I see that openSUSE 10.2 includes NUT, and it appears to work with my TrippLite UPS via

Nagios asterisk monitoring
Dear list, I am trying to configure the nagios plugin called check_sip. I just read the README file included with the plugin. I follow the readme steps to configure the plugin, without success. In the nagios web interface I can see (No output!) In the status information column. If I run the chech_sip plugin from a linux console, I get /usr/local/nagios/libexec# ./check_sip -u
