Marcus, I did try to do that several days ago, got the email, confirmed my desire to unsubscribe, and wad told that my "request would soon be acted upon" Yet I continue to get these messages. I'd love to have just a way to receive only message chains where I either started the question or am contributing. I don't need to see ALL the comms on the list, however this old-school

NUT and Eaton UPS produce a lot of error messages
I still have two questions: 1) How do I make the nut-server and nut-monitor find the right pid files? They are there but it seems they can't be opened. Permissions are nut/nut. 2) What do these error messages mean? Jan 19 16:14:52 mars nut-monitor[3781]: Init SSL without certificate database Jan 19 16:14:52 mars nut-monitor[3781]: Login on UPS [Eaton at localhost] failed - got [ERR

nut client config?
Hello, could nut clients have its settings file? It would be easier to configure UPSes for upsc, upsmon and nut-monitor with client config file. U4 beta rpms for CentOS
I have built a set of preview U4 beta rpms for CentOS i386 - these will become the basis of CentOS 3.4 when Rhel 3 U4 is released. I will not be pushing these out to the mirrors, but they are available at http://beta.caosity.org/centos/3.3/U4beta The beta packages are not signed. To add then to yum.conf add :- [u4beta] name=CentOS-$releasever - U4beta

Hi there, situation: a samba share on a zfs filesystem, after a user (also owner) changes acl on a file/directory the acl is messed up and nobody, also the owner, has access to the file/directory anymore. I've also used the vfs objects = zfsacl nfs4: mode = special combination in the share, any ideas ? regards Manfred

Actually, if the preceding lifetime of the service was a graceful stop, the exiting daemon should have removed its PID files. centos 3.3 and updates for 3.1
Hi Everyone, Centos 3.3 is available for general use - you can find it at: http://mirror.caosity.org/centos-3/3.3/ This should be a complete rebuild of all the nice things Red Hat has included in the srpms of their Enterprise Linux 3 update 3. This is a rebuild of all the changed packages from update 3 overlaid onto 3.1. It includes a rebuilt anaconda and new boot kernels for the installer.
