postfix with tls?
hi all,
i tried to install postgrey for postfix and had to update postfix to version
2.1.
i added the following to /etc/yum.conf
[postfix-2.1-rhel3]
name=Postfix Mail Server for RedHat Enterprise Linux 3.0 - $basearch
baseurl=http://ftp.WL0.org/yum/postfix/2.1/rhel3/
after the update i have problems because the new version of postfix doesn?t
support SASL.
is there an postfix-tls rpm for CentOS 3?

aarch64 / Raspberry Pi3
Hi,
some time ago we've been asked to provide aarch64 build of qemu-kvm-ev for
CentOS Cloud SIG consumption.
We did it, and while at it we also built oVirt 4.0 VDSM dependencies for
aarch64 in CentOS Virt SIG.
Testing repositories have been created and are now publicly available:

epel and ius repository
- ius-release-2-1.el7.ius.noarch
- epel-release-7-14.noarch
IUS not pulling the latest PHP packages. I have ran yum clean metadata

IUS not pulling latest PHP packages
Hello,
looking at the metadata for EPEL and IUS, neither seem to carry PHP 7.4.
It is EOL anyway, so you should migrate to PHP 8.
To find out where your current PHP comes from try something like:
# rpm -qf /usr/bin/php
# rpm -qi php
I would recommend you switch to Remi's repo and upgrade to PHP 8:
https://rpms.remirepo.net/
Kind regards,
Steve

Local yum mirror and repomd.xml
Hey,
So, I'm having a minor issue. Today, I configured one of our CentOS systems
to use our local mirror (mirror.clarkson.edu) for its repositories. After
doing this, I ran a yum update and received the following warning in the
output along with the updates available:
Not using downloaded repomd.xml because it is older than what we have:

yum can't connect to mirrors
Hello,
I added rpmforge yum repo to my yum config and then the box couldn't
connect to fetch updates. I added enabled=0 to rpmforge.repo as well as
add-ons, contrib, and centosplus, but i'm still getting mirror errors. I
believe i've got some file corruption somewhere, but i don't see where. I
can't even fetch packages in updates now, keep getting connection refused

yum quit working in CentOS 5.4 x86_64
Have been running 5.4 x86_64 for a couple of months now. Every once in
a while, I would get a notice that updates were available.
It appears that about 3 weeks ago, yum stopped notifying me of updates.
Over that time, I've manually done a 'yum update' from a command line,
with an output that there are no updates.
I know this cannot be true, because I watch the 'centOS-announce

Yum updates packages for other arch too
Hi,
I have the x86_64 arch on my server so therfore i expect that yum
updates only x86_64 packages.
With the last *yum update* i?ve noticed a strange behaviour while
retrieving the needed packeges. As you you see, yum wants install
packages for different architectures:
glibc x86_64 2.3.4-2.25 base 4.9 M
glibc i686 2.3.4-2.25 base 5.1 M
