IPSwichBoard designers wanted
I am rewriting IPSwitchBoard at the moment. I want to make IPSwitchBoard
"Skinable" meaning that you can design your own skins with company logo etc.
You will also be able to add graphical extension buttons, and led's that
will light up ex. DND, busy/free, message waiting and much more.
If you are graphically minded and would like to help with making test skins

Major bug solved in IPSwitchBoard
I have been working on solving a major issue with IPSwitchBoard. It was
reported that IPS would use all available memory and get the PC to grind to
a halt.
I could not understand this as I had it running on many different PC's in
Denmark.
I now found the bug:
IPS would crash on any PC that had "." configured as decimal point (in
Denmark we use ",") this meant

Config with TE210P, Asterisk and Legacy PBX and FreePBX?
Hi list!
Has anyone ever tried the following installation :
I want to replace our legacy PBX with Asterisk but... I still need the legacy
PBX as a 'channel bank' for fax (I need E1 not T1)
I will put a dual port PRI card in the Asterisk box, and for incoming and
outgoing faxes I want to use native bridging on the TE210P and route fax calls
(based on DID and prefix when dialling) to /

Slow dialling from PBX into * via E1
Hi :)
I have a little 'slow dialling' problem. When I dial, e.g.
200# for the Asterisk 'echo test' demo application from my PBX extension
1010, I see this in the console the instant I press the # key:
-- Starting simple switch on 'Zap/65-1'
-- Accepting overlap call from '1010' to '200' on channel 0/3, span 3
then exactly 3 seconds elapses, and

*.conf utilities for Asterisk
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for *.conf generators for
Asterisk. Creating *.conf files manually for Asterisk requires too much
effort for what I do other than minor tweaking. I run Asterisk as a network
appliance (Astlinux on CF) so something like FreePBX that needs to run on
the Asterisk server itself is not an option.
I have been using IPmanager up until now

Virtual Extensions
I have run into two programs offering Virtual users. This allows a
person to enter a code and take over any extension, another code is used
to release the feature. The two programs are Ipmanager and Scopserv. I
hate using GUI's as I have not seen a truly good one. I would like to
implement this feature without the GUI. Any Ideas! From what I gather
they are using Macro's, of which I have

Connecting Asterisk and BT Versatility PBX via NT BRI
Roberto
Thanks.
Panasonic KX-TD1232 system ISDN interface use DDK plug, not same cord you are using for openvox B400P card.
Each port could be configured as CO or extension port as Point-Point or PTMP in both mode.
Regarding to dial timeout these it becomes from ISDN dial mode overlap or En-bloc, by the way you can close dialling number by using # key.
Best regards
