Hi all, I'm trying to share a directory that contains files with non-ASCII characters (actually, hungarian chars, iso8859-2 or utf8 encoding, I'm not sure - the encoding of ext2) in their name. When I mount the share and try to list the contents of the directory, smbd crashes. samba version: 3.0.0rc1 The shared dir is on an ext2 partition. My system is a debian woody. iconv is installed

mISDN + chan_misdn.so + winbond issue
Hi all, Does anybody of you have the winbond w6692 working with the mISDN/chan_misdn.so? When loading chan_misdn.so from Asterisk, I get a "No lower Id port:1" error. The /var/log/messages file says: "MISDN free_device: entitylist not empty" I'm using Linux 2.6.11.11 + mISDN-CVS-2005-05-01 + Asterisk 1.0.7 + Zaptel 1.0.7 chan_misdn build from chan_misdn-beta-0.0.3-rc6

chan_capi, chan_misdn and chan_modem
Could someone please comment on the current state of chan_capi, chan_misdn and chan_modem channel drivers in terms of functionality and stability. Specifically, which channel driver would be best for a passive PCI HFC or W6692 ISDN card. The chan_misdn wiki claims that chan_capi distinguishes between junghanns and non-junghans cards, and that chan_misdn is better suited for general misdn

echocancellation in modem.conf
I have a ISDN BRI card with hisax module (w6692) and there is a lot of echo when I make calls to outside. Between the sip softphones the echo doesn't exist, but when I call to outside through the ISDN the echo exist. Is there any sense to put echocancellation in modem.conf ? ___________________________________________________ Nueva tecnología de Yahoo! Búsquedas ¿te atreves a comparar?

Newbie (unfortunately =)) q regarding BRI
Hi all I've only been working with Asterisk for a matter of days but have already grown into a big fan =) Much as I've managed to get internal calling working fine, I have a configuration running on an old PII-233 on RH9 with a (although not badged as is a) Dynalink IS64PH/Winbond W6692 PCI Card as /dev/ttyI0. The card works fine in minitel and dials out without a problem.. However try

chan_misdn and passive BRI cards
Has anyone got chan_misdn working with passive BRI cards yet? I've tried both hfc (hfcpci.ko) and w6692 (w6692pci.ko) cards, but when I start asterisk I get the following when chan_misdn is loaded: [chan_misdn.so] => (Channel driver for mISDN Support (Bri/Pri)) == Parsing '/etc/asterisk/misdn.conf': Found == Registered channel type 'mISDN' (This driver enables the

[PATCH 00/35] treewide trivial patches converting pr_warning to pr_warn
There are ~4300 uses of pr_warn and ~250 uses of the older pr_warning in the kernel source tree. Make the use of pr_warn consistent across all kernel files. This excludes all files in tools/ as there is a separate define pr_warning for that directory tree and pr_warn is not used in tools/. Done with 'sed s/\bpr_warning\b/pr_warn/' and some emacsing. Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list. I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without modifications. How did I try it? Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock ) Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee prep-out.log The build failed at the end: Processing files: kernel-xenU-devel-2.6.9-67.0.20.EL Checking

Noise Ninja 2.10 vs. wine-0.9
Hi All, I've been using NoiseNinja 2.10 (http://www.picturecode.com/nn_standalone.htm) on Linux (Debian unstable, kernel 2.6.11) using wine. It used to work fine, then Debian updated their packages, and wine broke (that's the price I pay for using Debian unstable, I guess). I then found out packages were also available from winehq.org. I've added them to my system as described
