Problem with a new italian service provider...
I've a problem connecting uniVoice (http://voice.uni.it) from asterisk.
Using my account data I can place a call smoothly using xlite or my
budgetone phone directly, but I'm not able to use uniVoice as a peer
from asterisk.
Registration seems to work correctly, but when I try do dial, the sip
authentication fails every time.
Their tech people told me that they are unable to make

All Circuits Busy instead of Busy Signal when calling a busy number using a PRI
When using a PRI on my asterisk system, and when calling a busy number
I often get an "All Circuits Are Busy" message. I've trouble shot it
and made absolutely sure all circuits are not busy... but the number
being called is in fact the issue. How do I get Asterisk to give me
a busy signal instead of "All Circuits Are Busy" when calling a busy
number? Is this something

"Random" all circuits busy now message
Hi,
We have quite a large setup working just fine most of the time. We have
60 outgoing lines on PRI and we never use all of these lines. But
sometimes we get the "all circuits busy now" message, seemingly random.
Sometimes we get it before the call even goes through to PSTN. Sometimes
after 5 or 6 rings etc.
It seems that the carrier is signalling something and asterisk always

Why it says "all circuits are busy now"
Hi everybody
After setting up trunk with FWD, all I get on my Asterisk box is message
saying that all circuits are busy now, try your call later. Even 612
(time) says the same thing. Why is it that and how can I fix it.

all our circuits are busy now
I am not sure why I am getting this message,
I have an outbound route that goes to asterisk gateway1 then asterisk
gateway2
When all lines on asterisk gateway1 are full, I get the message " all our
circuits are busy now" then few second later, the phone rings, going to the
second route! And the call can be established, how can I get rid of this
message??
thanks

Dahdi, PRI and all circuits are busy now
Hello,
I have a weird case, when some numbers dialed using a PRI, have an early
media sounds instead of normal ringing.
Few of the numbers are making Asterisk 1.6 (using Elastix 2) to report "all
circuits are busy now". All of this numbers are cellular phones, but they
constantly reporting the same thing.
But most numbers even with such music, works well.
What do you think I should

Unable to create ZAP channel - All circuits are busy
Hello,
I have *@Home 1.5 installed and all is working fine for incoming calls and
sometimes outgoing calls. Installed in the box is a digium TDM04B (4xFXO
Ports)
setup as ZAP1 to ZAP4. I have incoming calls coming in on lines 1-4 in that
order and outgoing calls prefering ZAP4 then ZAP3 then ZAP2.
When i try to dial out to the PSTN from a SIP phone it sometimes works
(normally after a reboot)

All Circuits are Busy Now
I have downloaded and installed Asterisk@home and I have installed X-Lite on my Windows machine and I am able to connect it to the Asterisk server. I went ahead an created an account on Broadvoice today and followed the directions on http://voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+settings+Broadvoice and http://foo.robotics.net/mediawiki-1.3.10/index.php/Asterisk_Setup but when ever I try and make a call from

Question on ring count on incoming circuits
Who controls how many times an incoming call from an external (DID)
provider will ring before Asterisk picks up the call and handles it
internally--the provider or Asterisk? If it's the DID provider, I'll
work on that with them; if it's Asterisk, I didn't find anything
anywhere that looks like it has anything to do with incoming ring count
unless you set up a ring-no-answer

Peer Review - Linuxfest Presentation Outline
Hello all,
I've been invited to do a presentation on Asterisk for the Ohio
Linuxfest in Columbus this weekend (http://www.ohiolinux.org). Rough
estimates are that nearly 500 people will be attending. I've been working
on an outline for a couple of weeks and I would like to have some peer
review of the information presented.
I am going to have to cut down the content to make it fit in

echotraining on T1 circuits
Hello,
We just had some new T1s turned up today to replace others that our contract
has run out on and we are now getting more echo on the new T1 lines than we
had on the old ones.
The T1 type is 24-channel, D4/AMI SF Robbed-bit(the same as the T1s they
replaced)
The problem is that we are getting echo on about 10% of the calls in and out
placed on these new T1s compared to less than 1% with

Bug with letters in newer Wine-versions
There existing a bug in newer Wine versions.
I use SuSE 9.3 as system.
If I used the Wine-version, which comes with the distribution
(wine-20050211), then the following window comes at start:

But if I update to wine-20050830 or wine-20050930 then it looks like

It is NOT a font-problem.

I have a .MSP file that has an update to a program I can't run
otherwise. How should I open/run this file? msiexec doesn't work. I
have searched the documentation and googled for it and couldn't find
anything.

Building wine-20050930 uses *a lot* of hd space
Yesterday, I noticed that I had lost about a gig of hd space without
knowing what had used that much. Turned out that it was the
wine-20050930 build directory that was using 850mb of hd space. I
pinned down the problem to the wine-20050930/dlls directory, which was
using about 600mb hd space. For example, advapi32.dll.so was 1155k,
while advapi.c was only 8518 bytes and advapi.o was 149k. I tried
