I'm currently experiencing the same issue, I can make outbound calls but DTMF will not work when dialing IVRs. Hi Someone complained in #asterisk-gui that the Zaptel hardware detection did not work. It seems that zapscan.bin did not work properly, as no /etc/asterisk/zapscan.conf was generated. Solution: detect zaptel hardware with genzaptelconf, and generate zapscan.conf from it. genzaptelconf grep '^fx[os][kl]s=' /etc/zaptel.conf \ | sed 's/\(fx[os]\)..=\(.*\)/[\2]\nport=\1\n/'

On the Asterisk CLI, I notice that pressing Ctrl-W deletes the entire line of text, as opposed to just the last word. Is this an artifact of using editline instead of readline? I'll note that other Emacs-style keypresses work just fine on the Asterisk CLI, but Ctrl-W is a real pain. I would go so far as to call this a bug as it is certainly behaviour that differs from what the user expects.

I thought I would give RedHat 9 a try with Asterisk..I thought it would be a good idea to use the latest version.. Zaptel, Zapata and Libpri all appear to have compiled sucessfully.. But.. (Why is there always a but??) It seems Asterisk is having issues with 'termcap' or 'tgetent' whatever that is.. Here is the output from 'make install'.. --------Start-------- if [ -d
