MSNs don't work for me... :(
Hi,
My * server is running FreeBSD. The wonderful isdn4bsd with chan_capi
port by hselaski works great, everything is perfect in a perfect
world... but !
These [@$!#] MSNs don't work at all ! My extensions.conf is very
simple for my 5 MSNs (0353, 0416, 0618, 0619 and 0620) :

MOH failures (bad quality with interruptions)
Hi ! :)
Does someone have an idea of the reason why my MusicOnHold (with clean
mp3 downloaded from http://aussievoip.com.au/wiki-MOH) is always
having interruptions and micro-cuts ?
No high load of the system, no swap, no hard disk r/w, mpg123 seems
running well... nothing !
Except a little message at startup :
"Warning, flexibel rate not heavily tested!"

DECT gateways
Heya list,
I need some advice/experience.
Some of our customers are asking us about DECT solutions for
their asterisk install. Some others will not go to asterisk
if there won't be a DECT solution.
They now have a Siemens or a Samsung PBX. Those PBX-es come
with a DECT basestation and optionally repeaters etc.
All those basestations speak some own protocol to the PBX,
so we cannot use them

Giving a hand to Nouveau
Hello everybody out there!
Well, I just subscribed to this mailing list, so I guess I should
introduce myself, at least giving relevant information about me
concerning the development of Nouveau.
You can call me a scientist, and I am doing simulation code. Therefore,
my experience in coding is about high performance computing and
scientific visualisation–and also about teaching. I have some

Toggle between the various pages for multi-page figures
Hello,
I am a new R user having transitioned over from S-plus recently. I have a
question that is probably very trivial but I am having trouble finding a
solution. In S-plus, graphic pages are created as tabs when multi-page
figures are created. I have shown the R code for xpose.VPC (a function
within library xpose4 for R) where I want the figure from each Strata (STRT)
to displayed on a

PHP Binding and SWIG Director for XapianMatchDecider
Hi,
I try to use XapianMatchDecider to filtering results, but the code :
$Decider = new MatchDecider_Search($XapianDatabase->_cPtr);
$mset = $XapEnquire->get_mset(0, 3000, null, $Decider);
Always return :
PHP Fatal error: No matching function for overloaded 'Enquire_get_mset'
in xapian.php on line 1082
I saw that SWIG was not supporting Directors for PHP, but now, it seems

libvirt, Open vSwitch and iptables
Hi all,
We're using since a long time libvirt with KVM guest machines and linux
bridges. Firewall rules based on iptables and defined on the host server
control inbound/outbound traffic to/from each VM. In order to improve
remote administration facility and get extra services, it makes sense
for us to replace linux bridges with Open vSwitch. However, the side
effect is the solution's

Then everything is in the title, i would like to get the guest's serial
console, the Windows one, Linux works perfectly at the moment. I don't find
enough informations about that, so I'm asking myself : "Is that stupid or
inconsistent ?". I know we can go trough 2 ssh access it but that's not
really nice to do.
My searches resulted in the use of EMS, I'm

MusicOnHold class working for internal calls, not for external
Hello list,
I have defined a new MoH-class in musiconhold.conf :
[default]
mode=files
directory=/var/lib/asterisk/moh
random=yes
;
*[106002]
mode=files
directory=/var/lib/asterisk/moh/106002
random=yes*
In sip.conf I have this commented out :
;mohinterpret=default
;mohsuggest=default
Asterisk sees these moh-classes and files :
vps2301*CLI> moh show classes
Class: default
Mode: files

FreeBSD 5.4 (Asterisk 1.0.9) - Playback , MP3Player and Musiconhold not working
I installed Asterisk 1.0.9 in a Freebsd 5.4 ( with no zaptel card); I
have 2 zoom x5v and works great ( in extensions 123 and 321 ) but I
was trying to test cmd Playback, MusicOnHold, MP3Player but when I
call to extension 100 I don't hear the sound ( mp3 or gsm that I put)
, I only hear noise
If I leave a message in a mailbox the same, all the record is noise

MusicOnHold with mpg123
Alright, I've come across a really strange issue and I've been banging
my head trying to figure it out.
I have 3 machines. 1 Dell Dimension 4100, Pentium 3. 1 Dell 400SC,
Pentium 4. 1 Dell 1600SC, Xeon. I run mpg123 0.59r on each machine.
Using RH9 with a 2.4.20-8 kernel, each machine plays MoH flawlessly.
As RH9 gets older and older, however, the need to upgrade arose. So I

MusicOnHold Native Mode, Please Clarify
Hi Guys,
I've attempted to get this moh-native thing to work with no success. I've
reviewed wiki, mantis and e-mail postings and I'm confused.
The latest I've read is native moh should be in asterisk-addons in
format_mp3, but what version will it work with? I've tried asterisk 1.0.1,
1.0.5, addons 1.0.1, 1.0.4 and also -r stable CVS. I followed the wiki
example with
