dtmf not being detected from viatalk
I am using viatalk as my voip provider and they use dtmf=rfc2833, but asterisk is not seeing any of the dtmf. I am using CVShead as of 8/26/05. Nothing in the logs indicates a dtmf is being seen. If I use my pots line it sees it fine. Any assistance would be appreciated. -- Your life is like a penny. You're going to lose it. The question is: How do you spend it? John Covici

StripMSD or extension parser bug?
For years we've had the following simple context for outgoing calls: [outtrunk] ; match any NANP, and strip leading 1 off exten => _1XXXXXXXXXX,1,StripMSD,1 ; dial outbound on trunk group 1 exten => _XXXXXXXXXX,2,Dial,Zap/g1/${EXTEN} But when I upgraded on Friday to the latest CVSHEAD, this no longer works. If I send 13115552368 to this context, I get a message like pbx.c: Channel

Multiple Line Appearances / Why use this?
I apologize for the double post. I am curious as to what the usefullness is of the multiple line appearance feature on Polycom phones. I setup our phones to register one line per extension but I hear the IP501's can do three line appearances. Why and how could this feature be applied? Thanks again all. PLEASE HELP!! CALLERID FAILS!!
I have 1.2.0 beta 1 running and it works fine. My x100p returns caller id with no problems. When I test the CVSHEAD callerid fails with checksum and len < 0 errors. I can run with the cvshead of zaptel and libpri with beta1 but only the beta1 source works for caller id. Any source after beta1 fails. Thanks --john

Draggables and overflow div''s revisited
I have two scrollable div''s (overflow:auto), one with a list of elements (the source) and the other is the drop target (dest). I''ve enabled ghosting so that the drag element gets out of the scrollable box (good). Interesting, at least on Firefox, the ghosted drag ends up going ''under'' the destination div when I drag it. No amount of z-order fidding seems to

Rsync ssh script execution fails under cron?
I've spent more than a day trying to write a script to backup my remote server to a local machine using ssh. The script works perfectly when I execute it directly (and I've gotten a number of variations to work okay), but I can't get cron to successfully execute it. There is no result output, so it seems cron is hanging on something, but I don't know what. I'm running it as

Strange Problem
Hi I am facing a strange problem. I have integrated speex codec's narrowband mode in my SIP based server. Then I tried to integrate the wideband mode. But the program crashes mysteriously. My encode and decode codes for wide band mode are exact similiar to that of narrowband, except the mode initialization, where I put "speex_wb_mode" instead of "speex_nb_mode". My

Reg. I/O callbacks.
Supposing I want to use the File decoder., and set the I/O callbacks. How do I do it? The API (version 1.1.2) documentation gives functions to set the ``write``, ``metadata`` and ``error`` callback. What about the ``read``., ``eof``, etc. callbacks. If i'm using the file decoder., can i still use the functions from the stream_decoder_set_* for this? -- Joe Steeve (http://www.joesteeve.org/)

Printing in Wine 20050725
I have just reinstalled wine on my Debian Sid (unstable) system after several years without it, in order to run a handful of Windows applications: IE, Lotus Notes, ... I use CUPS to support printing under Linux, and several years ago had no real problems printing from Windows applications running under Wine. However, I am now unable to print from any of them using Wine release 20050725. When I

CallerID Debug On Zap/POTS Channel
Hi all, I've been trying to wrap my mind around this one for several days now. How can I 'debug' the CallerID reception on a Zap/POTS channel? I have a POTS line with CallerID and a Digium TDM11B card right now. I have my signalling set to ks for both sides, can make and receive calls just fine. But I never get CallerID on incoming calls.
