HooDaHek 0.6 Released
HooDaHek 0.6 has been released. So soon, you say? Well, the best laid plans of mice and men... Steven BerkHolz is a pretty sharp stick and said to me, "Why don't you have HooDaHek change the CallerID when it looks up the name in the database on an incoming call?" Much head smacketh ensued, and as I made that change for Steven, I noticed that I had the way wrong version of

Asterisk::AGI Alternate Download
I see that the regular site for the Asterisk Perl AGI module is down (or something), so I've made an alternate download from my site: http://www.nathanpralle.com/downloads/asterisk-perl-0.08.tar.gz (just in case somebody was looking for it) Nathan -- ------------------------------------- Nathan E. MySQL and Asterisk
Is there a guide anywhere which runs through how to set up asterisk with mysql? I've looked and almost all the document misses out relevant information. Re: Asterisk-Users Digest, Vol 12, Issue 171
The cheap ones on EBay won't work with the SC420 server. I have one and can't make any of the clones work. I do have one TDM40B card for analog stations that works well. The problem with the SC420 is that it won't let you set the interrupts yourself and you end up with interrupts being shared. =============================================================== Message: 26 Date:

Caching DTMF tones for get_data AGI?
I'm using get_data in an AGI script and am having a problem when, after a long time in my IVR, when I ask for a 10-digit phone number, the first few tries are always invalid -- the number it reads back is very strange, almost like the DTMF tones from other answers were being cached and then dumped on the call to get_data. Anyone ever experienced this before? I have to do some major

Bulk Buys/Group Buys
Hey folks, Anyone know of companies selling bulk SIP adaptors (phones, adaptors, etc.) or has the list ever considered doing something like a bulk buy? I was just curious...I'm looking to get another 5-6 Grandstreams or similar and I figured I'd ask the list. If we found something that lots of people wanted, it probably couldn't hurt to contact a company and ask for bulk deals.

Message waiting/station busy conflict?
Greetings list, We are having a puzzle with * (asteriskathome 0.5) and SIP phones (SPA2000 ATA's). If callwaiting is enabled, everything (including call waiting) is normal. If callwaiting is turned off, the phone will not accept incoming calls and the call goes straight to whatever is programmed for the busy voicemail response. It doesn't matter whether reinvite is on or off, or

FXO USB that works with Asterisk?
Hi all. Done some research, Googled a lot, but can't find out if there is a USB FXO adapter that works well with Asterisk. If someone knows of one or has used one, I'd be very interested to hear about it. Many thanks, Nathan -- -------------------- www.nathanpralle.com --------------------

MGCP and call waiting, doesn't work.
Hey guys, can you shead some light on this? I will copy my mgcp.conf and post below, but here is the problem. I can't get call waiting to work with my MGCP device. I already have one call going, and I can hear the second call come in, I flash over to it, but all I get is a dial tone, * puts the 1st call on mute/hold, but I never get the second, and it terminates. I flash back over and pick

Am I missing something somewhere? Hi Andy, You also need to set "CW Setting: Yes" on the User 1 and User 2 screens. Or, dial from each line, whatever you have set for

Alias for country in indications.conf
Hello list, Hope you all doing fine! I've tried to use the 'alias' directive in the indications.conf file but apparently it doesn't work.... It looks like maybe this feature was removed, because old sample for the indications.conf file have example using the alias parameter, but newer samples don't have it anymore.... also I couldn't find any ticket saying this parameter

Compiling R Package on Windows
I just installed the R-patched 1.4.0 and for some reason I now have trouble compiling R packages - I could compile it a few weeks ago with R 1.4.0 released in December. This only happens if I put the --binary option in. For example: Rcmd build --binary cw returns the error: make: Entering directory `/cygdrive/c/PROGRA~1/R/RW1040/src/gnuwin32' make DLLNM= \ -C C:/MyRWork/cw PKG=cw
