Re: SpanDSP TXFax and multipage faxes problems (aditional info)
Thanks for the information Lee !
Still, something is still strange to me, since this two Panasonic Fax
machines are receiving at least 20 multi-paged faxes a day (they are in same
office as both Asterisk boxes, and me :) ). Beside that, POTS lines in those
two faxes
are from same PSTN switch as line in X100P in one of Asterisk boxes, and the
ISDN PRI lines in other Asterisk box is from same PSTN

txfax not working with spandsp
the attached log with verbose=6 and debug=6 refers.
we've got a sangoma A104 (no hwec) with PRI ports 1 & 3 loopbacked to each
other. we're trying to have txfax send out on one of those pri ports with
rxfax listening on the other side, hence having asterisk send a fax to
itself. we however have bad, and i mean really bad (<10%) success rates.
we're currently using asterisk

againg in both resolutions , and Group 4 - 3pages in both resolutions), and
then tried to send them to Panasonic KX-F1100, Panasonic KX-F500 and SpanDSP

Re: SpanDSP TXFax and multipage faxes problems (aditional info)
OK I see the ponit (although I never said that second page is interrupted -
I said that in some combinations of resolutions and TIFF options receiving
fax "spits" another blank sheet of paper beside the clearly received first
page).
I have read someware (some faxing tutuorial) that there is some kind of
control code (6 EOLs I belive) that should be in TIFFs between pages and
that

Asterisk - Spandsp Fax not working?
Hi all,
I'm trying to setup an asterisk based fax receiving machine.
i'm using asterisk 1.2.18 and app_rxfax with spandsp 0.0.4pre9
I have no problems with a modem-fax, but with the fax machines i have tried
almost every fax fails, both in sending and receive.
the machines are sending a receiving a lot of faxes every day and working
well, so i think the problem is on the spandsp side.

Too many errors sending and receiving faxes with an analog fax

I'm trying to send fax between zap fxs channels. No way to get it

Asterisk spanDSP / Faxing problem
Hi There.
I have the following setup :
Asterisk 1.2.4 , freePBX 2.0.1, spandsp-0.0.2pre24
My problem is as follows :
If I set up a very simple extensions.conf. when I dial from a fax
machine, it seems as if no fax is being recognised.
If I answer the call, I can hear the fax machine beeping.

dynlm and lm: should they give same estimates?
Hi,
I was wondering why the results from lm and dynlm are not the same for what I think is the same model.
I have just modified example 4.2 from the Pfaff book, please see below for the code and results.
Can anyone tell my what I am doing wrongly?
Many thanks,
Werner

Time Series DGPs
I was wondering if anyone had some sample time series dgp code. I am
particularly interested in examples of autoregressive processes and
error correction model DGPs. I have attached a more specific example
of what I mean. I have tried myself but would hoping someone had some
more elegant code that would help me extend my own code.

TxFax -> RxFax on same machine hangs
Hi,
I noticed a strange behaviour:
Faxing using spandsp (TxFax) from my asterisk box to my
old, common fax machine at home works fine.
Faxing from the same box to my office pc-fax (Hylafax)
also worke fine.
Receveiving faxes on my asterisk box using spandsp (RxFax)
also works fine. It is a PSTN number connected to the digium
card of that asterisk box.
Then I faxed from my asterisk box (TxFax)
