Re: Asterisk Java w/ Threads
With Asterisk-Java the proposed solution to connect to multiple Asterisk
servers is to create multiple AsteriskManagerConnection obeject.
Each ManagerConnection handles its own thread so there is no need for
custom thread handing code.
All you have to do is to make sure is the EventListener objects you pass
to these connections synchronize access to shared data (if there are
such accesses).

GS/* phonebook
Hello,
I wrote a small AJAX phonebook targeted at Grandstream phones although
the basic functionality doesn't require a SIP-phone.
Asterisk integration (call history, incoming call info, click-to-dial)
is not yet implemented, but on my ToDo list.
Features
* Licenced under the GPL v2
* Uses gettext. So translation should be easy. Includes German and English.
* Uses xajax for a

GS/* phonebook + Web-BLF
Hello,
I updated my AJAX GS/* phonebook. It now actually has Asterisk integration with
incoming call-notification, a searchable call history and clickable BLFs.
The BLFs can monitor specific extensions (SIP/phone - may work with other
channels than SIP if the AMI generates the appropriate events), Asterisk hints
or connectivity to external SIP-servers.
Features
* Clickable BLFs (Dial,

CallerID name lookup AGI script
Hi all,
My VoIP provider (race.com) doesn't send name info with CallerID, so I wrote
an AGI script that does the following:
1) If it's a toll free number (800|888|877|866), set the CallerID name to
"TollFree Caller"
2) Use curl to look up the number in Google phonebook
3) If a business listing, set the CallerID name to business name, as is.
4) If it's a residential

It's just stopped working! (1.9.18p8, IRIX 5.3)
Hi all,
I'm extremely puzzled by the behaviour of one of my Samba servers. It's
been working fine for yonks, and this morning (abuout 11:32) it just
stopped. (mostly)
Connecting to shares still works. Navigating the tree till works.
Changing (DOS) attributes still works.
But actually opening files and reading the contents doesn't work.
The client just times out (Win 3.11, and

system for authentification and "phonebook". I'm also new to LDAP.
There is a lot of doc and well documented how tos, and I came across the
following question:
Where is the search scope for samba defiend? Or is the LDAP servers
setting defining the scope?
All docs "talk" about putting all

Removing "Parsing /etc/asterisk/manager.conf" from CLI
Hello,
Is there any way of removing this line from showing on the console? I have a
script that logs in every few seconds to manager and it makes the CLI output
very hard to follow because of the " == Parsing
'/etc/asterisk/manager.conf': Found". (Yes, Found! manager.conf was there 3
seconds ago, guess what it's still there.)
There is a very old feature request about this
