similar to: Japanese ISDN BRI card for asterisk (INS64) where to start?

Hi all, general query here --- I'm about to set up an asterisk box for use in Japan but can't figureout if it's all ISDN there or what? I have gathered so far that the two major providers, NTT and KVH both offer ISDN lines with .......INS1500 and maybe INS64 protocols? Not sure... But I'm seeing stuff about J1 vs. T1/E1 .... so does that mean I can't use a Digium card it

Hi all, Has anybody used this card (Digi QuadMicro) with asterisk or can anybody tell me the likelyhood of it working out OK? You see, in Japan, if you receive a call that was just forwarded by another number, the call presentation not only includes the caller (ANI) and your number (DNIS), it will also usually include the forwarding number (REDIRECT). Hi List, i've set up an Asterisk 1.6.0.3 Server equipped with an Xorcom Astribank BRI XR0013 (2 Port BRI) and Dahdi 2.1.0. In- and outgoing calls are no problem. But I can't get Asterisk/DAHDI to use the second Number of the BRI. All calls set the primary number as callerid. It wouldn't be a problem, if we would use this one as id for our company, but it's already in use (private).

Hello, I'm looking for an ISDN BRI-U interface for use in the US. I'm primarily interested in using the BRI as a trunking interface into the PSTN with Asterisk. Naturally, cheaper is better.
