Cisco 7960 on Asterisk?
Hello,
I am just building my first Asterisk server.
Looking for a couple of good quality ip phones.
I like the Cisco 7960, are they easy to configure to work with Asterisk?
What are the alternatives, with a good speaker phone, and simple clean
and stylish look like the Cisco?
I appreciate your advice.
Kind regards

Asterisk and IP500 / IP600 Boot RoM
Hello,
Does anybody have the latest Boot ROMs for the IP500 and IP 600 Polycom
phones.
I have one of each and can't find the Boot ROM v 3 anywhere to download.
I would also love a good sample phone.cfg and sip.cfg files from an
Aussie asterisk user to look at.
Also the ip500 is having problems trying to load the bootrom 2.6.2 ? Any
ideas?
Kind regards

Post-hoc tests for repeated measures in balanced experimental design
Hi,
I am performing experiments in the field of visual perception where
we often apply balanced designs. Within a group of normal subjects,
we vary different stimulus conditions (like contrast, luminance,
temporal frequency of stimulation) and derive some psychophysical or
electrophysiological results from our subjects. Often, the main
question is to test the effect of these parameters

Importing big plain files from ERP-System/Data Mining with R
Hi,
how can I import really big plain text data files (several GB) from an
ERP-System (SAP-Tables) to R?
The Header of these files are always similar, for example:

hi there !
I want to change a novell-netware server to a samba server, and
there i have a big problem with the file-permitions !
we use a big database-system. the clients searches for the
programs and for the data's on the same drive, so i must have one
share with different rights (rwx ... for data and rx for programs)

Strange problem with... ZFS? Disk? Controller?
Hello,
I'm running FreeBSD 9.0/amd64, pure ZFS setup, one Seagate disk
ST2000NM0011 SN02 on LSI Logic (mpt) controller.
Yes, I know that running one disk on RAID controller is a bit weird, I
have to find yet if it is possible to connect disk to internal SATA
controller.
About two days ago, system became SLOW. Disk usage is constantly 100%,
and sometimes I'm getting swap_pager:

Heterogeneous XCP 1.6 pool
Hi,
I''ve been trying to use E5520 and X5650 together in an heterogeneous pool without success.
I know the combination is not on the official XenServer supported list (http://hcl.xensource.com/CPUPoolsList.aspx), but I thought it would be possible to set the mask anyway and see for myself if the combination works…
My problem is that the mask doesn''t "stick" after a

[LLVMdev] [TableGen][AsmParser][MC] isAsmParserOnly flag in class Instruction
Hi Jim,
I did look at the ARMAsmParser and it seems to me that it is using a switch/case construct to change the opcode and the operands, but this construct may become too large eventually. I was wondering if it is possible to use isAsmParser only flag to call dedicated methods, like dedicated parsers for AsmOperands.

Vladimir

[LLVMdev] [Mips][TargetOptions] How to properly instantiate TargetOptions in MC layer?
Hi Eric,
as I was working on the same issues that are covered in your patch I also made a change in clang driver to pass this option to the assembler. Could you please review it and tell me your opinion?

Thanks

[LLVMdev] [Mips][TargetOptions] How to properly instantiate TargetOptions in MC layer?
Hi Eric,
The main thing we need to fix is that the selection between ELF32/ELF64 needs to depend on the ABI being N64 and not on whether we used a mips-linux-gnu triple versus a mips64-linux-gnu triple. So 'clang -target mips-linux-gnu' -mips64r2 -mabi=64' should produce an ELF64 and 'clang -target mips64-linux-gnu -mips32r2 -mabi=32' should produce an ELF32. In terms of code,

[LLVMdev] [TableGen][AsmParser][MC] isAsmParserOnly flag in class Instruction
Hi Vladimir,
ARM does similar things for complex assembly pseudos. Have a look at the definition and use of AsmPseudoInst in the ARM backend. They’re not typically expanding to multiple “real” instructions, but that’s an implementation detail, not a constraint.

greendragon build noisy due to mmap_stress.cc
Hi,
one of the greendragon bots is flaky due to mmap_stress.cc in compiler-rt.
In the last two days this bot failed three times (and recovered) due to
thhe mmap_stress.cc test in compiler-rt:

[LLVMdev] tot clang/llvm and tot gcc performance comparision
Hi, I have looked at the LLVM code generation quality using small test cases
and in general it is better than I thought and in some cases better than
gcc. However, there are still some gap in SPEC performance. I have not
looked at the root cause of those gaps. Anyone who cares about LLVM
performance need to take this seriously.
For fair comparison, I used -fno-strict-aliasing in gcc to turn off

Just to clarify - you rebooted the dom0/hypervisor also?
I know the bug is reproducible on every FreeBSD domU boot, at least.

nginx exploit / accept filters
As described here:

If I understand this correctly our accept filters will have zero effect
on stopping this exploit, correct?
