Inter-Tel AXXESS failure: HDLC Bad FCS (8) on Primary D-channel of span 1
Yep, another list posting on this topic :)
All the messages I've read on this are from people experiencing these errors
in quiet times - I get them as soon as I plug a port on our TE410P to an
Inter-Tel AXXESS PBX.. and I get them continuously...
I'm just sticking an * box in between ISDN30e (we're in the UK so euroisdn)
and the PBX.. and whilst the telco ISDN30e side works like

PRI got event: HDLC Bad FCS (8) on Primary D-channel of span
Hello,
I get an Error every minute on the second card of two installed TE410P
Cards in our System.
The error is:
PRI got event. HDLC Abort (6) on Primary D-channel of span 5(-8)
PRI got event: HDLC Bad FCS (8) on Primary D-channel of span 5(-8)
Is it possible that there are known problems with 2 cards in one system?
I'm running Asterisk/Libpri/zaptel from SVN branch-1.2-16008

Hmm, so 9.0 is out and it supports SIP natively. How did you plan to
integrate the 2?
-The Axxess will see the * as it would see an IP service provider.

Asterisk/InterTel Axxess via MGCP? Anyone?
Hello everyone - first time poster, long time lurker. (sounds like a
radio morning program, I know).
I'm attempting to get my InterTel Axxess (w/v9.0 software) to play nice
with my Asterisk implementation. Asterisk 1.2.6 is running on a Fedora
Core 4 x86 box. I've tried getting the Axxess to talk SIP to Asterisk,
but InterTel's SIP implementation is, well-let's say, incomplete.

MGCP to Inter Tel system
I've been trying to figure out if it's possible to connect
Asterisk to a parent Inter Tel Axxess system through the
MGCP protocol. The archives for this list aren't searchable
and I'm wondering if anyone has a simple answer...

integrate Intertel Axxess with Asterisk
Has anyone successfully integrated Asterisk with an Inter-tel Axxess phone
system via a SIP trunk using the IPRC card?

Asterisk and InterTel Axxess system?
Hi all,
My office recently purchased an InterTel Axxess system with the IPRC
card for VoIP. To our suprise, this card allows the InterTel endpoints
and MGCP endpoints to work, but not SIP clients. I was really
expecting to get a SIP softphone working with this setup, but that
appears to require our vendor to sell us a SIP gateway and licenses at
a not yet determined price.

HDLC Bad FCS / HDLC Abort solution
Hi
Related to this message:
http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2005-February/090205.html
After having a lot of trouble with abort and breakdown of the PRI connection I
finally figured out what was wrong:
The kernel was compiled for generic ide chipsets which doesn't support DMA.
When our daily backup created some load for the disks the interrupts for the
digium card

HDLC Bad FCS (8) on Primary D-channel
Hello,
I've got a running system in which logs are full of messages such as:
[Jun 10 07:24:14] NOTICE[2414] chan_dahdi.c: PRI got event: HDLC Bad FCS (8)
on Primary D-channel of span 2
The strange thing is those messages are coming from a single span.
My setup is :
Asterisk 1.6.1.18
Junghanns OctoBRI
with wcb4xxp driver
libpri 1.4.10.2
dahdi 2.3.0
3 BRI lines in PtMP mode

HDLC bad FCS
I have 2 servers, configured identically. Each has a TE405P and 2 PRIs. One server was experiencing crackly audio on one circuit, accompanied by HDLC
bad FCS messages. The telco recabled and moved me to another port on the DMS-100. The audio is better, but there are still bad FCS problems on the
span. I have moved the PRI in question to the other server, and the problem does indeed move with the

PRI error (HDLC Bad FCS)
Hi,
We currently have an Asterisk box (P4 2.4 Ghz, 512Mb RAM, 1 T100P,
Zhone Channel Bank and 1 E100P) connected to an ISDN running without
any problems. That machine is working for about 1 year.
Two days ago, we decided to switch that machine for two PowerEdge 600SC
(HA) and we got some problems.
The running machine (P4 2.4Ghz) has an Intel motherboard with four
32-bit 3.3v PCI slots,

HDLC Bad FCS (8) HDLC Abort on TE410P
Dear All,
we have installed a TE410P card on a Dell Poweredge 1750 running a slackware
10 with 2.4.26 Kernel. Then we have made two loops on the card and we have
configurated all the 120 channels. Our goals was to perform some stess tests
even if in this scenario we used the same box as generator and target.
The stress test comprised to generate up to 60 calls at the same time by
placing a file

Fun with CAPI
Hullo :) Can someone help me untangle a bit of a mess?
I'm trying to set up a demo * server to show off how useful it can be to our
business (as an IVR system and VoIP backup if our ISDN30s fail). I've not
been able to get NT mode working with our InterTel Axxess PBX, so I've
resorted to using normal TE mode and working on the basis the people dial one

dual TE410, both span 3 is broken
This afternoon I finally figured out more with regarding to a strange
clock-slip problem we have on our asterisk box.
We have two TE410s, in E1 mode:
TE410P version c01a009b
They have their own interrupts:
66: 781648298 783747388 IO-APIC-level t4xxp
233: 253890977 1311504670 IO-APIC-level t4xxp
They have their full 31 channels:
span=3,0,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4
bchan=63-77,79-93

Suddenly "HDLC Bad FCS (8)" errors on ISDN-PRI, changed nothing
Hi fellow asterisk users,
I am running Asterisk 1.4.29 with an Digium TE121 card (wcte12xp kernel
module) an approx. 100 snom320. The whole installation is running
without issues since 5 months.
Without having changed anything on the asterisk server for at least 2
months, i noticed "clicking sounds" at external calls over the PRI.
Asterisk constantly throws the following messages:

RAD IPmux8
Hi,
I'm looking for somebody who has managed to get their IPmux8 or
IPmux11 talking to an Asterisk machine. I have it setup properly I
think (the two IPmux's are talking to each other, and the zttool
says that the PRI is acting okay, but I'm flooded with HDLC aborts
and FCS problems.

outgoing works, incoming fails on asterisk passthrough to inter-tel
Hi everybody,
Well, I've finally got asterisk to to talk nicely with my Intertel pbx.
Currently there is a outside T1 line (e&m wink start, esf, b8zs)
connected to asterisk, and then asterisk connected similarly to my
Intertel pbx. For right now all asterisk is doing is passing calls
between the two.
When I call out from the pbx, I can connect perfectly to the outside
world. When I
