911 Help! I accidentially deleted all directories under /var/spool/asterisk I did use the backup facility not too long ago but cannot find the process for restore. However, I don't believe a full restore is needed -- I just need to know the names of the directories under /var/spool/asterisk and re-create them (I hope!). The astrisk detects the fax tone and jusmps to the fax extension and rxfax application starts and the max machine starts the fax but saddenly stops and seems the rxfax have died. Hi, I want to try detecting if a call is a fax from Zap/1 channel and if it is, forward it to a fax number. How to do it? I have iaxmodem and Hylax working, but it can only receive, but not redirect the fax call. Also, I have read that Asteris has a tool call rxFax. My configuration is like this: PSTN fax -> ISDN -> Cisco router with VoIP module -> Asterisk When I try to send a fax from PSTN fax I got the standard fax signal, Asterisk starts rxfax application and then call ends and there is no tif anywhere. On the fax display there is still one message: Calling... Part of my extensions.conf:
