Hello Everybody, I'm using the snom Phones together with Asterisk and I already able to see which Peer is used via "hint" priority. Then a LED on the snom phone is blinking. But I don't see who is calling the other phone. I know that the snom phones are already support this feature. But how I can enable this on Asterisk? Regards Bastian

Best way to connect analog modem
Hello Asterisk fans, I try to connect an analog modem to Asterisk. The modems are connected e.g. to alarm systems or a cash terminals (POS). As PSTN-Interface I'm using a Wildcard TE110P (E1). Is it possible to connect the modems to an ATA? Which ATA I should use for that scenarios? Cheers Bastian ____________ Virus checked by G DATA AntiVirusKit Version: AVK 17.1806 from 04.01.2007 Virus

Re: 400 Bad Request error from svn
It's nice to see that the OS where CentOS gets its sources from also experiments the same error! I have been very busy lately so I haven't had the time to deal with the problem, probably later this week or early next week. As soon as I find something Ill let you know. Hopefully you'll do the same if you come across the solution first. PS. Forwarding this message to the mailing

memory leak in 3.3.1 rebalance?
I started rebalancing my 25x2 distributed-replicate volume two days ago. Since then, the memory usage of the rebalance processes has been steadily climbing by 1-2 megabytes per minute. Following http://gluster.org/community/documentation/index.php/High_Memory_Usage, I tried "echo 2 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches". This had no effect on the processes' memory usage. Some of the

Question about fitting power
Hi R users I'm trying to fit a model y=ax^b. I know if I made ln(y)=ln(a)+bln(x) this is a linear regression. But I obtain differente results with nls() and lm() My commands are: nls(CV ~a*Est^b, data=limiares, start =list(a=100,b=0), trace = TRUE) for nonlinear regression and : lm(ln_CV~ln_Est, data=limiares) for linear regression Nonlinear

OT: SIP aware firewalls?
Hi All, Until now I've only used IAX2 to connect to ITSPs. I've been toying with a SIP connection to Gizmo Project, but not yet successfully. It brings to mind a question. At what point does it make sense to consider a SIP-aware firewall such as those from Ingate? I'd hate to move away from my m0n0wall, which is open source, easy to manage and has served me brilliantly for two

Best Firewall Suggestions?
Hi, My customer has a outdated firewall that is also presenting a NAT nightmare for getting the Asterisk server reachable from the internet. What firewalls work good with VOIP? I really want to steer away from any ALG supported firewall. I just want a good firewall that works well with Asterisk. Thanks, David Wathen -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...

Asterisk behind a PIX firewall?
Is there anything special that anyone here has had to do to get an Aastra phone (on the Internet) to talk to Asterisk behind a PIX firewall? Ports 10000-20000 UDP are open on the PIX and forwarding to the Asterisk server. The Asterisk server's RTP.CONF is set to use 10000-20000. The phone registers, and will place AND receive calls, however, no audio is passed. The phone is an Aastra

For AIX 53 ML01 I'm getting a "Segmentation fault in buffer_append_space at line 85 in file buffer.c" in sshd after typing my password for a new connection to the AIX 5.3 host. Line 85 is "if (buffer->offset == buffer->end) {". Is this caused by an old bug in buffer_append_space? Regards Rob v.d. Wal
