Is it mandatory to give power supply to TDM400Pcard
Is it not for a card with 4 FXO? I spent several hours the other day trying to figure out what I had done wrong and I ahd forgotten to connect the power cable. I setup several of these before and couldn't figure out why this one didn't work. It appears that's all it waqs. Without the power connecter the card will probe, and even appear to be working but when the lines ring (coming

Is it mandatory to give power supplytoTDM400Pcard
No I got confused....yes they are FXO modules with POTS lines coming from bell attached. The only thing I can think of is that since the card supports 3.3v or 5v PCI slots that maybe on a 3.3v slot it requires the other connection all the time because it really does need the 5v and is just not picky about where it comes from. -Jonathan -----Original Message----- From:

A problem with queues
Hello, I am implementing a small call center with 1 to 4 agents. For some reason I don't understand, if an agent is busy, and it is his/her turn in the queue round, asterisk gives an "all destinations are busy" message and hangs up the call. Agents are SIP lines registered with an audiocodes MP108FXS which registers each line independently. Ringing strategy is RoundRobin (most of

secrets_fetch_trusted_domain_password
It apparently samba stored trusted info on secret.tdb so only samba PDC was able to retrieve this info, am I correct? (though trust account waqs stored in ldap). I can't browse samba BDC from (trusted) NT domain, it always ask for username/password again. samba domain = IRSJKT NT domain = DOMJKT msg from samba BDC : [2004/03/18 21:16:42, 5] auth/auth_util.c:make_user_info_map(216)

EMC Clariion stanby power supply
Hello All. I'm working on building support for the Clariion range of standby power supplies. I've found you can get hold of these easily on ebay like: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EMC-CLARiiON-Standby-Power-Supply-118031985- SPS-1000W-/160373295258 There is a problem that I haven't been able to work around. After 90 seconds without power, the device shuts down. This is because

3com Ethernet Power Supply
Hello, I am trying to set up some Cisco 7940G phones with the 3com POE injectors. I have the 3CNJPSE24 power injector, this is the rackmountable 24 port injector. My question is does anyone know how to serial console into these things? I have tried just about every cable setup I can think of and baud rates but I can't seem to get anything out of it. I want to check to see what certain

"Telco power supply" with digium card TE410P?
Hi, I'm in the need to use a line extender. I found a device, which should best be placed in the middle of the line, which would make power supplying difficult, unless I'd use its "telco power supply" features: The device is capable of taking current from one signal wire pair or voltage from the potential difference between both pairs. Both methods seems to be a sort of

Creating mandatory profiles (not making profiles mandatory)
Hi, is it possible to create the user profiles by copying a template, change file ownership and modify the SID in NTUSER.DAT using the profile tool? We have many problems with broken profiles. This has become time consuming and frustrating - when a user experiences an error or weird behaviour of an application I can never be sure wether the cause is a "wrong user error", a broken

Low performance when using "server signing" = "mandatory"
Hello, I'm experiencing very slow read/write performance, about 20 MB/s, on Samba share when I configure the "server signing" option as "mandatory". Once I set "server signing" to "default", the read/write performance returns to average speed about 800 MB/s. I am using Samba 4.9.4 on server with Intel Xeon CPU E5-2690 0 @ 2.90GHz (32 threads) and 10 Gbit

Access to Samba-Shares with "sign communications = mandatory"
Hello Samba-Specialists, which smb.conf-options do I have to set to get access to a Samba-Share from a Windows7-Machine, if the Windows7-Machine is very restrictive configured regarding 'smb-signing'? Windows7-Configuration: Microsoft network client: Digitally sign communications (if server agrees): Enabled Microsoft network client: Digitally sign communications (always): Enabled

Mandatory Server Signing with Windows 7
I have not tried with a Samba 4.x DC. As far as I know Samba 4.x does not have this limitation. mandatory profiles
Hello! I am running samba 3.0 on fc2 in a win2000 network. I want to use only mandatory profiles in the network, but can't get this to work properly. I have set up a "perfect user" on my local machine", and copied this profile to \\server\netlogon\Default User. I have also made this default profile mandatory by renaming ntuser.dat to ntuser.man. In smb.conf I have added:

mandatory profiles - again
Hello! Some days ago I posted a message about mandatory profiles, and got a very useful answer from John H Terpstra with reference to his Samba Guide. Suddenly logging on runs much faster.... However, I have still one more problem to solve. I have set up the win2000 client to delete the cached profile on exit. The "problem" is that the user profile remains on the server in

[PATCH 5/6] drm: Delete "mandatory" stereographic modes
HDMI specification 1.4a, table 8-15 is very explicitly a "must support at least one of" table, not a "must support all of" table. It is not hard to find hardware that does not support some of the so-called "mandatory" modes. More seriously, this code generates invalid display modes for both of the 3D-capable panels that I have (a 42-inch LG TV and a Sony PlayStation

Mandatory profile changes languagesetting
Hi, I've set up a domain where some of my users are using mandatory profiles to logon to the network. However, I got one problem that just doesn't go away. When my users log on, they do not get the correct keyboard setting - even if it is the same as configured for the mandatory user + all other users on the client machine. Instead the users get the us-keyboard settings. Also the users
