Asterisk & ISDN
Hi,
I'm wondering if someone tried to use Asterisk and ISDN as an ISDN
simulator for Cisco lab.
Searched the net but I didn't find anything.
Thank you,
Mihai

Cisco, Sip, Linux, ISDN
I am one of the few people left in the US with a ISDN connection to the
internet. (Internet cable has been promised "Real Soon Now" for a couple
years). Worse, my home network runs on a decrepit Cisco 2500 series
router, and is double-natted via a firewall, which is why I currently
use iax to call anywhere.
I have been making ever-increasing use of my asterisk PBX, and I'm ready

hi all,
i recently subscribe for an isdn and terminate it on a 3825 router.
i used it as a sip trunk for my asterisk. i'm a newbie when it comes to
ISDN. and i've been experiencing some issues:
1. Call Hangup:
When hangup is initiated from the outside the extension (softphone/ip

extension as well when it

Eicon DIVA PCI ISDN cards (not server) work with asterisk!
I just wanted to let you know that it's possible to use Eicon DIVA PCI
2.01 ISDN cards (not "server" divas) with asterisk.
First thing to do is to load the module. If you have two of these cards,
you should do it like that:
modprobe -v hisax protocol=2,2 type=11,11
And now you can have up to 4 incoming calls with two cards (try calling
yourself and see if anything gets into

ISDN BRI termination via Cisco?
Greetings -
We've a pair of ISDN BRI that we use for dialtone, fairly happily except
for the recent meltdown of one of our Netgear RT338's. We're in the
middle of slowly migrating to a VoIP/Asterisk-on-FreeBSD based phone
system. I had originally considered just buying a Digium TDM400 card
and continuing to use the RT338's to bring out POTS lines from the BRI's,
but the

Eicon DIVA PCI ISDN cards (not server) work withasterisk!
Hello Marc,
Could you post the install details for the Diva PCI? I have a Diva Pro
PCI 3.0 and I am looking to get it working... I am running Debian
Testing. So far it appears there are a few things floating around but I
am not certain which direction to go. I know I need to load the firmware
first. I did manage to load the modules ok.
Thanks,
Greg

NT mode with hfc cards for emulation of internal isdn S0 bus
hi,
i just found a page on the net which might me worth some lines.
for the urgent reader: http://isdn.jolly.de
there is a guy in germany who has successfully programmed a gpl-patch for
isdn4linux to make isdn cards with the hfc chipset from cologne chip
(http://www.colognechip.com) run in the NT mode (up to 2.4.20).
this mode is needed to connect isdn device to a pc and enables the use of

multiple EICON Diva 2.01 PCI ISDN cards with Asterisk - possible?
Hello,
I'm thinking of deploying Asterisk.
I already have a handful of EICON Diva 2.01 PCI ISDN cards.
I was thinking if it's possible to insert 4 such cards to my PC-Asterisk
server (which I yet have to install) and use them as 4 lines in case
anyone has to call me in / I have to call out using ISDN line(s)?
Any reply appreciated.

ISDN cards that support nt mode
Hi,
I am looking for inexpensive isdn card that supports nt mode with asterisk.
Does it mean that if mISDN has nt mode support for a specific card that
asterisk has too? If yes, I presume I could buy any of the cards listed
on the PBX4Linux page: http://isdn.jolly.de/cards.html Or will asterisk
work ONLY with cards with hfc chipsets?
Cheers,
Arik

US source for compatible ISDN cards?
Is there a source out there for getting Linux/Asterisk compatible ISDN
PCI cards in the US, *besides* the overly pricey Eicon Diva Server?
Linux Central doesn't seem to carry the NETspider-U anymore so I'm
looking for either that or an inexpensive passive ISDN card to play
with. I've scoured ebay and found nothing so far. :(
If someone out there has a card or two and wants to sell it

About cards for ISDN-PRI in Ireland

Hi all
I have already a fully operational Asterisk PBX connected only to the IP world.
As a necessary step before smashing our current PBX, I need to install
and configure an ISDN card able to take an incoming E1 line provided
by Eircom.
That's the one and only ISDN line we will ever have, so I am planning
to get a single port card similar to

R: Best drivers for HFC-S ISDN cards
Mine is very similar: i don't have echocancelwhenbridged=yes because it seems work only on TDM, is it ?
And in Italy, I often have set pridialplan = unknown
About echo I have some problems, but only at the beginning of the call. After 3-4 seconds the echo became almost null, specially with snom 190; with pa168s and ywh10 I have again some problem, the echo come up also after 1 minute of

HFC-S ISDN cards in Xen3.0.3 DomU''s
Hi!
I just wanted to ask if anyone managed to get "ordinary" HFC-S ISDN
cards with the zaphfc driver running in a Xen3 DomU.
I am referring to this post (
http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-users/2007-04/msg00202.html ),
which perfectly describes my problem and I am therefore going to
simply copy-and-paste it here:
