gsm call-hunting [OT]
Hi
Has anyone heard of solutions for implementing call-hunting
over a bank of gsm lines / sim cards?
We wan to have a single gsm dial in number for access to
asterisk.
Only solution I know about is HP's opencall which is very
expensive.
Apologies if this is somewhat off-topic.
Thanks

Configuration call hijack for users in a hunting group ?
Hello list
We've installed asterisk@home 2.6 at the office :)
I'm trying to set call hijacking for users
The way this should work is this: When call comes in, a user would
dial some phone code (like *8# - what we had in the old 1.0.9 setup)
and pick up the call.
How can I do this for the 2.6 setup ?
Can it be done from the AMP web managment portal ?
Our setup uses the zapata.conf file

PXELINUX LocalBoot 0 fail; hunting for bug
Recently, I decided to pull out a new model laptop for testing related
to my job at work. Dell Latitiude E6400, BIOS A14. Normally I have
it set to boot CD, USB, Net, then HDD and noticed that with
PXELINUX-4.02 and 'LOCALBOOT 0', it hung on me before leaving the PXE
stack. I then tried 3.86 and it worked. 4.00 and 4.01 both hung when
I tested them as well. Changing to 'LOCALBOOT

Hunting for snow...
Evening folks:
I did an install.views of finance and econometrics and between the two of
them R reported 'FracSim', 'RDCOMClient', 'snow', 'VGAM', and 'segmented'
as missing dependencies. Now, I've managed to hunt down what appear to be
current zip file copies of all of the packages but 'snow'. Is there a

Hunting for DIDs in Kenya/Nigeria
Don't know if anyone's got experiences on this they'd be able to share...
I'm trying to obtain numbers for Kenya/Nigeria, but I'm struggling to find a
company selling them. There's one for Nigeria listed on didx.com, but
$22/month seems a little steep. Has anyone had any luck getting DIDs for
countries in Africa, and are there any companies out there selling them?
Thanks

hunting timeouts
Hi guys,
I inherited a Dovecot 1.0.1, which I will have to upgrade, but until then I need, if possible, to resolve a timeout.
- we have about 25 IMAP users
- the busiest user has about 100 000 messages (Maildir) in less than 100 folders
- the mail server is on HP server with server grade 2.5" HDDs in RAID 5
- the load average of the server is low (the 5/15 minute is under 0.20)
- the mail

LOL.
This is a horrible subject line.? I've been trying to resolve a DDOS
issue, and ignoring a lot of email.?
Here I had been thinking this was a sex-spam, and I just got around to
wondering why the spam system isn't working quite right and they kept
coming in.? :P
Not sure if this was suggested, but use SSD's.? With a ton of mail
combined with Maildir random reads/writes,

Multiple DDI & Hunting on Analog Lines (UK)
Hi everyone,
I want to get multiple DDI's and hunting across those DDI's in case one of the lines is busy using analog phone lines. The system is for a large house so I want 3 x PSTN lines. 3 x DDI's and the ability for those DDI's to be presented across all three PSTN lines.
BT say you can't have more than one DDI number associated with a PSTN line and that you can't

Multiple DDI & Hunting on Analog Lines ( UK)
You should be able to get ISDN though. I think BT provide this anywhere. Otherwise your solution will be a Primary rate (ISDN30) with 8 channels.
