I know I''ve seen this somewhere...
Hello everyone, A few months back, I remember seeing either an online video or tutorial that covered using Rails where the "database" was a large collection of XML documents in a directory. I can''t remember much more than that about it (particularly what the application was), but now I''m facing a similar situation and I''d like to track that reference down

is there an "before_commit" hook somewhere in Rails?
Hi, Is there an "before_commit" hook somewhere in Rails? (i.e. after all the saves & after_save callbacks occur, but just before the transaction commits?) -- Greg http://blog.gregnet.org/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group. Well there is a problem in here somewhere.
Hi, I am sure this is not going to do my reputation any good. I will be known as someone who just can't stop asking questions. Folks, I am guessing there are not too many Amiga people out there. Shame really. But anyway, in follow up to my problems about getting the two machines talking to one another: I kind of got the password thing resolved but it re-apperared. Then dis-appeared

[LLVMdev] LNT somewhere hosted and used?
Hi, I have been following the development of the /zorg/trunk/lnt project for a while and am wondering if there is some regular LLVM performance testing using LNT that can be accessed online? Are there any plans to create an officially used web service for this like e.g the llvm buildbots? Thanks a lot Tobi

[LLVMdev] Is there a stubbed out target definition available somewhere?
I am trying to follow this tutorial: http://llvm.org/devmtg/2009-10/Korobeynikov_BackendTutorial.pdf However, figuring out what can and cannot be deleted from the sparc backend while still compiling is proving rather frustrating. -Joe -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I believe the talk makes clear which backend should be considered as a start point (at that time). In any case, https://github.com/asl/llvm-openrisc is better "stub" backend, at least it's 'just' 6

Good explanation somewhere of SIP security?
I'm slightly confused about how SIP security and authorization works. I've looked at the Wiki (http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+SIP+user+vs+peer) , but it's, um, flawed: > As of Asterisk 1.2, there is no reason to actually use 'user' entries > any more at all; you can use 'type=peer' for everything and the behavior > will be much more

Trouble somewhere with lib compilation
Let me preface this by saying that, I realize I should be asking this in *-bsd, but I posted there last week and heard nothing so I thought I would post here to see if anyone had any thoughts: I just compiled all these from source: asterisk-1.2.9.1 zaptel-bsd (from svn downloaded on jun 8) libpri-1.2.3 spandsp-0.0.2.p20_1 (from FreeBSD ports) The system is AMD64 so I had to modify the

mbox somewhere else?
Hi, I want to store my folders somewhere else, it used be in ~/mail. Is this as easy as moving everything in ~/mail to /var/mail/ and editing /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf to read mail_location=mbox:~/mail:INBOX=/var/mail/%u ? Also, is the syntax mail_location=mbox:/var/mail/%u-folders:INBOX=/var/mail/%u correct? Regards, -- Whatever it is, I fear Greeks even when they bring gifts. -- Publius

POP3 account + forward to somewhere else
Hello, I would like to set up a POP account which also forwards email elsewhere. In qmail for example it is easy to set up by creating a dot qmail file inside the users mailbox. How can this be done with Postfix? For awareness I'm using Postfix + Dovecot for POP3 authentication. Thanks, Duncan

lmtp_rcpt_check_quota working somewhere?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello, I'm running Dovecot v2.1 and enabled the lmtp_rcpt_check_quota option in conf.d/20-lmtp.conf, because I just found it in the sample config. Is this option working somewhere? When I have the option enabled, I get _no_ response in the RCPT TO phase, if the user is under quota. If I go on and enter the DATA keyword eventually, I get

add|delete user / group / machine ... scripts, is the "API" somewhere documented?
Hi folks, are there any more detailed docs about those scripts? I have some annoying issues there and I can't find anything about that in the docs. If using usrmgr.exe is it possible to tweak the "add user script" that the full name of a user is stored too, like if I add the user manually with adduser (debian) or useradd -c "Full Name" -m username on (most?) other
