meetme sounds
I am playing around with dynamic meetme conferences, and wanted to have one person constantly in the conference, with calls "popping in and out". Is there an option / any way of playing enter / leave sounds to the person who created the conference only, and not the people leaving / joining ? TIA Julian.

Hi, I'm missing the enter/leave sound when I activate the adminmenu in a dynamic conference. Did anybody know, how to solve the problem? Klaus

Meetme using ztdummy on Linux 2.6 sounds scratchy
I'm currently working out the config bugs on my * box and I'm noticing that the meetme is very scratchy. As in not usable scratchy tho I can hear the audio it sounds like when you talk through a fan. Anyone have any ideas? Linux 2.6 with RTC installed. Using stable release and SIP devices. -Don

meetme with review of the entered conference number
Hi there, I'm using asterisk meetme function like: exten => 9070,n,MeetMe(|dcM) and everything works pretty well. But I would like to add a review of the entered conference number before the user jumps into the conference. Somthing like: *:"Please enter the conference number followed by the hash key" (works) U: 123456# (works) *: "You are entering conference number

MeetMe exit status?
Hi, Does MeetMe in Asterisk 11.4 set some kind of exit status or a var so I know for example if a conf ended normally or if someone gave a wrong conf number or pin? Thanks, Patrick

MeetMe + IAX2 + Asterisk 1.2.18 = calls dropped
We upgraded our asterisk server to 1.2.18 last night to pick up the security update. Since then, any calls coming in on IAX2 links get dropped if they try to enter a MeetMe conference room. The log shows this: Apr 26 08:33:16 NOTICE[27362]: chan_iax2.c:3167 iax2_read: I should never be called! Hanging up. I've temporarily worked around it by switching our inbound provider to use SIP

meetme dies looking for conf-getconfno
With 1.6.1, I'm trying to set up a test of meetme for creating dynamic conferences. cat meetme.conf [rooms] conf => 600 extensions.conf: [meetme] exten => 2663,1,MeetMe(,D) exten => 2663,n,Hangup() exten => 2666,1,MeetMe() exten => 2666,n,Hangup() What I'm expecting is to dial 2663, get a conference room number ( 600, I suppose since it's the only room ), and set

MeetMe -1 return Code - howto
I was searching for help on how to handle the errors that are returned from the MeetMe application. for instance. 1) if a user tries to join a conference that is locked, allison says that the conference is locked and then comes back to the dialplan, however it does not continue down the dialplan. I have a meetme command on Priority 8, and the CLI says that it returned non zero (as the wiki

One single record file for a meetme monitor?
I'm trying to figure out the best way to record a conference. Many people suggest something like this: exten => 2060,1,Answer exten => 2060,2,Wait(1) exten => 2060,3,Monitor(wav,myfilename) exten => 2060,4,Meetme(1,ps) However, this creates two files for each user that connects to the meetme. (I know they can be mux'd together to make one with sox..I've done that too)

Moderator access to meetme allowed despite pin
Hello, all. I've solved my own problem but will post it here in case someone else has the same misunderstanding in the future. We thought we had set up our meetme so that regular users entered the conference without a pin but could not speak to each other until the moderator arrived. We enforced pin entry on the moderator . . . or at least so we thought. If the moderator waited long enough

IAX / MeetMe problem
Greetings, I have a somewhat unique (I think) configuration that I am testing involving MeetMe conferencing and have encountered a problem that I'm not quite sure how to solve. Here is a brief description of my setup for the background. I wanted to offer the ability for users to mute and unmute themselves while in a conference. If they enter a conference as monitor only, they are

Meetme volume increase/decrease
Hi. The UPGRADE.txt of asterisk distribution contains the following snippet under the MeetMe heading: /"MeetMe: * The conference application now allows users to increase/decrease their speaking volume and listening volume (independently of each other and other users); the 'admin' and 'user' menus have changed, and new sound files are included with this release.

Leave and re-enter a conference
All; What I want to do is create a way to easily send callers into a conference room to have an N-way conference call. I created an extension '100' that calls the MeetMe() command. Then all I need to do is transfer a caller using a blind transfer (*2 in my case) to extension 100. Then I can dial a feature code that sends me into that conference (*15 in my case). So far, a piece of

meetme problem maybe connected to features.conf
Hello. I have a strange problem with the MeetMe application. Configured is a misdn msn to go into a preconfigured MeetMe room. exten => 12,1,MeetMe(1234,pIM) The first caller gets the prompt to enter the pin and then gets connected to the MeetMe room. The second caller gets also the prompt but after entering the right key he hears a dialtone followed by the message: The number you have

MeetMe - Causes * to crash :/
Anyone ever seen MeetMe cause * to crash? Specifically, it happens consistantly if someone begins to enter a conference and then decides to hangup while Allison is introducing them - like playing back "conf-onlyperson". This has been seen with the MeetMe participant connecting via IAX and SIP (not saying it doesn't happen with Zap, just that I haven't seen it). The box is *

Still can't get MeetMe working..
Hi, This is pretty much a repost but I still havent been able to get MeetMe to work.. I am using a Dev Kit lite.. so that should satisfy the Zaptel requirement for MeetMe.. meetme.conf looks like this.. [rooms] conf => 7500 In extensions.conf I have an [extensions] context and within that same context I have the line.. exten => 7500,1,MeetMe(7500) When I dial 7500 I get the message

Bad Meetme() Bug
Anyone seen this? If not I guess I'll have to post it as a bug. Extensions.conf has this: exten => 123,1,Meetme(|dMic|) I dial 123, and enter my conference number. Asterisk asks me to enter my name. At this point I hang up. If I type at the Asterisk console 'meetme list 12345' it shows that I am a participant in the conference evenhough I hung up. If I dial 123 again and this

Odd MeetMe bahaviour with MoH ...
Hi, I've just observed something a bit odd - I'm wondering if this is the expected behaviour, a bug/feature, or something I'm doing stupid! 1st person gets into MeetMe. Nothing fancy, just: exten => 987,1,MeetMe(400,iM) They enter the passcode and their name, then listen to MoH. So-far so good. Now the 2nd person dials in. They enter the pin-code, and at that point, the MoH
