Call Problems W/CVS Head
I've been getting these really weird errors that scroll almost nonstop
across the screen when someone attempts to place a call and it starts
ringing.
Jul 19 17:55:01 ERROR[23246]: utils.c:509 tvfix: warning negative
timestamp -536835.-70000
Does anyone know what this is all about and what I can do to fix it?
Thanks for any help in advance, this is causing huge problems!

IAX2 update - timestamp issue within iax pkts
For those that might be using Cisco 7940/7960 sip phones and placing
calls across an iax2 link, we think the voice quality problem has been
identified and corrected. The dev cvs should be updated as of about
3:30pm CDT today (April 14).
History: Calls originating from a Cisco 79x0 sip phone and sent via
iax2 link to some distant * machine resulted in very poor quality audio,

ASTCC: Asterisk Calling Card Solution
I am hereby announcing the immediate availablity of ASTCC for *alpha*
testing. ASTCC is an AGI script and CGI script which greatly simplifies
the task of creating a calling card application on Asterisk. Just check
it out of Asterisk CVS as module astcc:
export CVSROOT=:pserver:anoncvs@cvs.digium.com:/usr/cvsroot
cvs login (password is anoncvs)
cvs co astcc
ASTCC is, of course, distributed

[PATCH] prevent negative "time left" values with --progress when file grows
[ see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=415648 ]
When a source file grows during transfer, rsync may show negative time
values such as 0:-1:-34. The following patch replaces then negative
times with ??:??:?? in such cases (as IMHO it's not worth the bother of
getting the filesize again etc. in such cases, but showing garbage info
is wrong as well).

make release headaches
Hi there,
When I do a make buildworld and try to do a make release it will fail
telling that it needs the CVSROOT directory.
I do cvsup /etc/cvs-supfile and receive nothing ;

3.4.6 to 3.5.2 difficulties
Did an upgrade from samba 3.4.6 to 3.5.2 Left the smb.conf completely
unchanged. As background I'm using samba on gentoo amd64 with a ldapsam
backend on openldap. Upgrade went well, I thought. Users could login
and access their home directories. Service reloaded without issue.
Here was the issue though, windows 2003 servers couldn't login users
into the domain. These servers were

Hi all,
I am trying to compiler current CV head on a PowerPC G3 Debain system.
Debian test has automake 1.9 which is a little more stringent about
errors than 1.8. The following patch has the following fixes.
0) Remove AC_CANNONIAL_HOST because it has already been invoked

[fdo] Updated syncmail script for new CVS loginfo syntax
Hi,
If you are getting tired of being teased about updating your
syncmail script to the new CVS loginfo syntax, this mail is for
you.
If you have opted to use the CIA script, you have already
switched to the new loginfo format. If not, you need to do now.
For that you need to add
UseNewInfoFmtStrings=yes
to the CVS config file. Then if you have script using the old
format you can escape it

newbie: logical AND, OR in selectors ?
Hello
Is it possible to construct selectors that can take into account two
or more variables or conditions, by ANDing or ORing them together?
Eg, I am trying to write a cvsserve component which can optionally
take a username (or connect anonymously) and can also optionally take
a cvs tag name to export. So there would be four different
combinations of cvs command to exec, eg:
cvs -d

CVS?
It's been a while since I touched CVS, and things seem to have changed:

The CVSROOT I'm using is :ext:<username>@cvs.flac.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/flac
Has the repository moved elsewhere?

problems with winCVS
hi everybody,
we have problems using wincvs with a cvsroot on a samba-server. we
think that the problem is the renaming of files where the cvs user does
not have write-permisson on:
this is our configuration:
fileserver on a irix6.5 running samba 1.9.18p8
having a share on / named 'coder'.

rsync 2.6.8 timeouts
Hi.
I have an anonymous rsync server set up on cvs.blackfin.uclinux.org, which
allows people to take our entire cvs/snv respositories (which are _huge_)
and do local checkouts. It works really well for most people.
I have a client set up on a static IP numbers, off the backbone, which work
flawlessly. It never errors, and never has a problem. Thanks to everyone
for their hard work - for an

Problem: rsync hangs
Greetings,
We've been experiencing intermittent timeout errors with rsync 2.4.x,
but I've never been able to set up a small enough test case, nor
track down the problem to its root cause[1].
Rsync 2.5.0 still has problems, but in a perverted way it's better:
it's reproducible more quickly (1 hour, instead of many), and exhibits
different symptoms: a hang, instead of a timeout.
